Devilish dipping

“We can’t do this!” Said a skinny girl. “When the sisters come back…”

“Yeah, and I’m sure they can punish us at the same time.” Continued a curvy girl.

“Relax.” Said Jess, drifting on her back. “Who cares if they punish us? Just be like me when that happens.”

A freckled girl objected. “Easy for you to say, you’re…” The freckled girl stopped herself, afraid to finish the sentence.

“The Devil’s Daughter?” Grinned Jess as she leaned on the pools edge. “I know about that little nickname, and I honestly love it! As for the punishment, just risk it. Break the rules every once in a while. You’ll find the experience… enlightening.”

The girls were quiet.

“Screw it.” A muscular girl shouted. She pulled her bathing suit off and made a cannonball in the pool. “You only live once!”

“That’s the spirit!” Cheered Jess. “Any other dippers?”

Suddenly, the freckled girl joined.

And then another girl.

And another.

And then three more.

“That’s more like it!” Yelled Jess. “Isn’t this amazing!” She and the other seven girls swam around, started splashing one another or floated on their back.

Nathalie stood on the edge. She stared at Jess who seemed to be flirting with the muscular girl. For the longest time, her parents and the nuns told her that her feelings for other women were wrong. And seeing Jess with another did provoke a feeling of disgust. Not out of ethical reasons, but for reasons she felt ashamed off.

She pulled half her bathing suit off, when the doors opened.

“What on earth are you girls doing?!” Shouted sister Traci, followed by three other sisters. “Are you completely out of your minds?!”

Most of the girls got out of the pool immediately, covering themselves in shame.

“What do we do?” Asked the freckled girl.

“No worries.” Said Jess. “Just follow my lead.” She swam out of the pool, the others following suit. She confidently strolled towards the sisters and said…
