Detention

Zack, Taylor, Gavin, Chloe, and Holly sat on a bench in the main administrative wing of the school. They were surrounded by what must have been half the Sophomore year class, a couple of parents, and a bunch of other students while they waited.

On the other side of the room, they could see Logan, Charlie, Heather, Ashley, Dustin, and a few others sitting or standing together. Further away they saw Dylan, Shawn, Kendra, Carl, Matt, and the rest of their group.

Peter was standing near the middle next to Victoria and Sylvie while Alice and Bonnie quickly finished talking before Alice also went to talk to Peter and Bonnie came to join Zack, Taylor, Gavin, Chloe, and Holly on the bench.

"What did she want?" Chloe asked Bonnie who was eyes were fixed on what she was typing on her phone.

"Oh emm. She wanted to know if I knew who was in the girl locker room." Bonnie said without looking up from her phone. "Oh and she asked how Gavin was and I said he was ok. You're ok? Right Gavin? Cause I can tell her if you're not..." Bonnie started to ramble.

"I'm fine," Gavin said sheepishly. Everyone fell silent and just listened to the constant hum of other people talking all around them.

The kids stood up when they saw Roy McRose walk into the area and waved him over. "What happened?" Roy McRose asked the kids when he arrived. They could see he was genuinely worried about them and not the least bit angry, not even upset.

Taylor just shrugged and nodded at Gavin and the kids all looked at Zack for a moment 'Shit why me?" Zack groaned to himself before he looked up and said "I'm sorry sir. I'm sorry I wasn't there to help."

Roy looked really worried now thinking something had happened to Chloe or Holly, and he repeated his question "Ok, don't worry, just tell me what happened."

And so Zack and Gavin told him how Matt, Dylan, and Kendra had tried to strip Gavin and toss him into the girls' locker room before Logan and Charlie stopped them, and then a big fight broke out.

Roy closed his eyes and sighed in relief that his girls were ok and then he nodded to the kids. "Ok. Don't worry I'll take care of it." He saw the worried and downcast look on Gavin. "Don't worry Gavin. You won't get in trouble with your mom or with the school, I'll make sure of it. I promise." He passed the car keys to Chloe and said to the kids. "Go to the car and wait for me, I'll be there soon."

He watched the kids go before he turned and let the secretary guide him to Wessterhof 's office.

"Mr. McRose?" Wessterhof said in confusion "I'm sorry but I can't see you now. As you can see we've had a bit of a spat with the kids, but please rest assure your girls are not involved in anything."

"I'm not here for my girls," Roy said. "I here for Gavin."

"I... see..." Wessterhof said a bit confused "Yes he was involved in these fights, but you need not worry about it. I understand that you are close friends but surely you can understand that this is only something I can speak with Mrs. Westher. I am not at liberty to talk with parents about other children."

"Mr. Wessterhof." Roy said. "Has of Monday I am the legal representative for both Gavin and his mother in this school. Now, it seems that Gavin is the target of bullying by the other kids. What will the school to do end it?"

Wessterhof stiffened and stared at Roy for a moment. "I understand your concern but I must insist. I can not talk about Gavin with you. I must talk with his mother."

Roy simply shrugged "NO. You will only talk with me from now on."

Wessterhof narrowed his eyes as he stared at Roy until he finally nodded and gave a wicked smile "I see... You're fucking her, aren't you. Yea... You're fucking that bitch on the side." He saw Roy stiffen for a moment and confirm his suspicion. Roy was surprised by how perceptive the man was.

He gave Roy a smug smile and continued, "Yes. This is what we are going to do. You're going to take little Gavin back home and you're gonna tell that bitch to get her ass down here. Cause if you don't... and she doesn't show up... Well, what do you think your wife will say when she learns you've been banging her friend on the side huh? What will your girls think about their fine daddy?"

Roy took a deep breath before he considered his answer. He normally was a kind and soft-spoken man with his family and friends and he was also very protective of his wife and girls. But as a defense attorney for the state, almost half of his clients were hardcore criminals and came from tough backgrounds. Roy had learned how to deal with hardened criminals and he knew how to handle them and put them back in their place when dealing with them. If criminals couldn't push him around neither would a bullying principal, even if that principal was a bear of a man.

Roy stood up from his chair and leaned over Wessterhof. He bared his teeth in a feral grin and hissed at him. "What would my wife say? My wife would hold you down while I rip your fucking throat out for what you did to our Diane. You will stop harassing her. You will stop those kids from bullying my girls or Gavin, or Zack. Cause if you don't... well let me remind you that the bottom of Silver Lake is pretty cold this time of year. Is that clear?" he said tapping Wessterhof's cheek, "And if you don't believe me, just ask my clients in the state prison... they owe me a lot of favors."

When a visibly pale Wessterhof nodded, Roy stood up and left the office. Has he walked back to his car he pulled out his phone and made a call. "Hi, Yea it's me Roy. Look... I need to talk to you, When can we meet?"

"Mrs. Cole?" The secretary called. "The Vice-Principle will see you now."

"It's Ms. Austen." Vanesa softly corrected the secretary who simply nodded.

Vanesa Austen stood up and straighten her clothes and squared her shoulders. she glanced over at Madison and Lisa sitting next to Brandon before she stared down sternly at her son Brandon. "Don't get into more trouble while I'm in there," she said. Vanesa turned around and walked to Jack Hartburn's office.

Brandon saw her smile at Vice-Principal Hartburn and shake his hand before she entered the office. He saw Hartburn close the door behind her. For a minute Brandon wrangled his hands together and fought with himself. He remembered how Shawn gloated about Wessterhof fucking Gavin's mother, how they were talking about doing something else to make her come to see him again. Since he had been grounded by his parents he hadn't been able to get together with Dylan and Shawn and the rest of the gang and so, he didn't know if they had planned this. Was what happened today with Gavin was part of their plan? He suspected that it might be. At the time he thought if was fun, maybe get a chance to see a real MILF fucking and not just on a porn site... but now that his own mother was behind closed doors it didn't seem funny anymore. Was Hartburn in on it like Wessterhof? Shawn seemed to avoid talking with him so maybe he wasn't in on their stuff, or was he?

He didn't know what to do. He didn't know who had changed his profile pictures and the rest but he suddenly felt afraid, very afraid for his mother. Did they do this to him? Was it because he had gone to apologize? Had Dylan or Shawn changed his profile pictures to get his mother here? His legs started to shake, he wanted to go and see what was happening....but also, he didn't want to know.

Brandon made up his mind and suddenly he sprang up and quickly went to the Vice-Principal's office he opened the door and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that nothing had happened. Brandon took a deep breath and said "I... I think I know what happened." Brandon closed the door and spend a long time confessing to his mother and Hartburn what he knew.

After Brandon stood up and went into Hartburn's office Lisa turned to her best friend. "So.. did you go ask for some extra credit?" Lisa asked Madison while she wiggled her eyebrow...

"Yea, I did... and you know what he did?" Madison hissed and smacked Lisa on her shoulder. Lia could clearly see that her friend was really pissed off.

"What?" Lisa said.

"He gave me a book report!" Madison said "A Fucking Book Report!"

Lisa started laughing at Madison. She saw how Madison scowled and her face turned red in furry which only made Lisa laugh even more until Madison punched her arm. "OW! What was that for?" Lisa said.

"It's not funny! Now I gotta do a fucking book report by next week. Vickers gave me a fucking book report on Hamlet! And you're gonna do it for me." Madison said.

"What !?!" Lisa said confused "Why me?"

"Cause this was your fucking idea! Now your gonna help me write it." Madison said firmly and Lisa just slumped her shoulders.
