As she sits there she becomes aware of a figure standing nearby. "Disgraced former king, what odious task brings you here?" she snarls. Dreg huffs.

"Hold your tongue curl, lest you end up coiled in mine," he threatens.

"Shut it. We lived in fear of you for long enough. You have no power on this floor, especially this time. If you have business speak it or begone," she responds and Dreg glares.

He is silent for a time and then speaks, "They won't make it to the forest. The saviour you longed for does not currently lie before you. They are a figure who will never come and once this Chosen is gone, I will be a step closer to my return. If you live to return yourself, I will enjoy making you pay for your remarks when I am king once again," he threatens.

"All you have are threats. Begone," she states and waves a hand dismissively at him. His glare in response is pure hatred before he vanishes. As soon as he's gone her poise breaks and she drops to her hands, trembling and looks at Take. "You... You'll save us. You'll free us from this and though you may not be the one who ends him, someday someone will take that bastard's head," she says.

Breaker doesn't make an appearance and Take and Malphiel eventually wake up fully rested, Maie by this time has pulled back on her composure and greets them happily. "Sleep well!? Ready to go?!" she asks enthusiastically and Take stands and helps Malphiel to her feet.

"Ready to go," Take confirms and Maie nods and flies up onto her shoulder.

"Onwards then, back to see Lord Windgrace?" she asks.

"I think so, yes?" Take answers, looking to the voices for confirmation of the plan.
