Encountering them by yourself might be a little too much and in such a thin street, you might not be able to dodge them as well as the last few. You decide to head the other way on the street.

You soon come upon a massive gate, and realize it is the massive gate from before! The one you encountered on your path away to the clinic, and this time, the lever beside it should definitely open it this time. You pull it and the gate slowly creaks open.

You suddenly hear a voice from the alleyway you didn’t even notice. Straining your ears brings no further noise from that direction, and with all the junk in the way you can’t see into it where you are. You’d have to make your way into the alley itself if you want to check it out.

However, you could also ignore it. Since there’s now a way back to the clinic, you could also see if there were any clues you missed in there or you could head down the street, by now that horde must have made some distance away from you.
