Decide she's good enough and prepares for Jaune

Ruby figured this should be good, she can always alter things if the worst case scenario happened but for now this will do. Happy that she's looking her best, in her opinion anyways she sets off to make herself cookies.

I probably should ditch the metallic body in case things get....intimate between us She thought while blushing as she gathered the ingredients to make cookies. She snapped back to reality No, bad Ruby bad, cheer up first, win him over next, then worry about everything else. She thought and was happy at that. It took her a good few hours before finally sending the baked cookies into the oven.

"There we go." Ruby cheered in her new accent Velvet has. "now to make the perfect comforting chocolate chip cookies ever!!" She beamed with joy when saying that. After a while she saw the cookies baked and they look nice and juicy. After taking them out she set them on the oven to cool off.

They look so good. She licked her lips at the thought and went to grab one but stopped herself. No, they are for Jaune. With that in mind she waited for them to cool down. Once she did so she put them in the bag and went to find him.

Knowing him he's sulking in his room. She thought as she went there. Sure enough he was there sulking but he wasn't alone. Pyrrha was already there comforting him.

"It's alright Jaune, let it out." She soothed as he sobbed at his failed attempt to impress Weiss.

Oh no you don't She thought and made her presence known.

"Hi Jaune, I brought cookies." She sang which got his attention, still red eyed from the crying.

"Oh, hey Ruby. Thanks come in." Jaune tried to smile, Pyrrha gave her an unreadable look but Ruby knew she was angry.

"Oh...hey Ruby." Pyrrha sounded happy but she obviously wasn't. Ruby plopped herself on the other side of him and gave him a cookie. Jaune smiled a bit and grabbed it to eat it.

"These are good, thanks!" He sounded a bit happier. Pyrrha shot her a glare and then said.

"Jaune, I have something for you as well." She said and brought out a box of chocolate "It's your favourite."

"Thanks, both of you." He mentioned having a chocolate, Ruby shot Pyrrha a glare back as the war for his affections was on.
