Deadly alliance

Jackson reached into his pocket and pulled out what looked like some clicker used to train animals, clicking it a few times as he smirked evilly.

Suddenly, a low growl came from behind the group as they turned to see The Ripper limping into the room, snarling at them while coming over to Jackson's side.

"See, I got this idea after several failed attempts to stuff and mount her on the wall." Jackson explained as Sarah and Kyle aimed their guns at the creature while Alex, Jane, Caroline and Shakes hid behind them. "If I couldn't turn her into a hunting trophy, then I'll make her my hunting dog. The Ripper hates this little thing, so as long as I have it, it's under my control."

"Uh, guys?" Jane asked. "W-what'll we do?"

Alex looked over to the fang in Caroline's hand then back at The Ripper. She looked back at the fang before returning her attention to the approaching creature. The fang, The Ripper. "If bullets won't do anything against it's hide, and that fang is still venomous and strong enough to puncture steel..."

Without another word, Alex grabbed the fang from Caroline's hand and ran off, getting the attention of The Ripper as she ran.

"Alex! NO!" Jane shouted, ripping the shotgun out of Sarah's hand and chasing after the two.

"Get back here!" Kyle yelled as he handed Sarah his gun and chased after the girls.

Seeing the chaos as an opportunity, Jackson ran off in the other direction, just barely missing the shots from Sarah's handgun.

"C'mon! Let's go save your friends and my husband!" Sarah said as she led Caroline and Shakes away, "He's dead out there, anyway!"

"All right, Men! Move out!" The Captain yelled as her squad charged into the jungle towards the living facility/laboratory. "And Samson! If I hear one more crack about my earlier wardrobe malfunction from you, I'll see to it you're court marshalled before you can even say 'Oops'! Do I make myself clear?!"

"Ma'am! Yes, Ma'am!"

Admiral Roxanne Monroe stepped into a jeep with The Captain and her driver, following the troops as they entered the jungle. "If you're not dead by the time we find you, Little Brother, you're going to wish you were."

Jackson had just made it into the jungle as he stopped by a tree to catch his breath. Perhaps he could -

His eyes widened as he heard a rustling in the bushes, turning around and gasping in surprise. His surprise soon ended however upon seeing...

"Caroline?!" The Squawk Box squawked as it stepped out from the bushes. "Oh, crap! Caroline! We forgot all about her!"

"... Are you freaks still alive?" Jackson asked in disbelief.

"_I mean, I'm sure she's fine, right? Oh crap! The chicken killed her! With what?!_"

"Get the hell away from me before I rip your head off!"

"_Oh thank goodness! She's still al- Wait, kitty?! Oh no! What the hell is an 'Antlila'?!_"

"Ugh! Stupid evolutionary dead ends!" Jackson groaned as he marched off in annoyance.

"Okay, that's... Wait, is that good or bad? Well, it -"

"I'm not listening! You sound like my stupid older sister!"

"Start making sense before I deep fry you, you stupid bird! Is our friend alive or not?! Jane, Sweetheart, love of my life, and my Jungle Queen to be. It can't actually talk. It just repeats whatever it hears. That means she's, hopefully, alive. But, be out of what...?"

"Why did I leave the compound again...?"

"CAROLINE!"

"Will you shut the fu- WHOA!" Jackson screamed as he tripped and fell into a large sandy pit, screaming in pain as he felt his leg snap. Looking up with a snarl, he shouted, "I swear, McNugget! When I'm out of here, I'll wring your neck! Then I'll kill those idiot scientists and girls before I **** that sister of mine like I should've done years -"

*Growl*

At the sudden noise, Jackson slowly and shakily looked over his shoulder to see what looked like a gorilla with four muscular arms and insect-like mandibles climbing into the pit, the creature letting out a roar.

"Heh... N-nice antilia..."

Back with Alex, the young woman led The Ripper outside as storm clouds began to roll in, coming to a stop at the edge of a cliff. Hearing the sound of a low growl behind her, Alex turned around to see The Ripper slowly slinking forward while she held out the fang like a knife.

"You're claimed to have the intelligence of a human." Alex said to the creature, glaring The Ripper down. "So I know that you know that I know that you're not going to be stupid enough to charge towards me and either wait for me to sidestep you or knock us both off this cliff and send us plummeting about three hundred feet."

The Ripper growled in response as Jane, Sarah, Kyle, Caroline, and Shakes arrived on the scene.

"With that said," Alex continued, "I intend on living here for the rest of my life with the woman I love. In happiness, not fear! So consider this your possible last day as 'Apex Predator'."

*Roar!*

"Let's end this now!"
