Chapter 29

What's next?

Day two in Ruyanei.

As enjoyable as it was to be the object of my priestess's very attentive efforts, I had work to do. She had debased herself completely in such a show of submission and surrender that my lusts were rekindled.

"Enough, whore," I said, pulling away from her and leaving the room. "Come."

She sank down, sitting on her heels for a moment to process her emotional state before climbing to her feet and following me from the room in silence. Her expression was full of worry and shame.

The house I had chosen to rest in was one of the houses that had kept dogs. I briefly considered placing my priestess in one of the collars and walking her through town on a leash, but I dismissed the idea; while her emotional distress at being physically leashed would be delicious, the idea felt trite and I had more pressing concerns.

She followed me as though chained, anyway.

I felt her experimentally reach for her magic again once, but it was a weak effort. She was strong enough that I doubted I could hold her if she were at full strength making a real effort. But she was learning helplessness. In time, she would quit trying, even if success were within her grasp.

The sun had risen. All six of my minions stood at their posts around the church. I took that to mean that the surrounding farms had been silenced. Good.

The priestess gasped at the sight of them and the corpse by the door, but she said nothing.

I approached the building and pressed a hand to the stone. There was some power in the building, but less than I'd feared.

"What manner of enchantments protect this place?" I asked my captive.

She hesitated. If she believed the building kept her people safe, she may have been half right. My undead minions were likely unable to enter but I could walk right in. To help me would mean selling out her entire village to protect herself, but to defy me would be an empty gesture. She would suffer for it and then she would give me what I wanted just the same.

"Please... Don't make me help you..." She watched me as if expecting me to cut her down on the spot. She feared me to her core. She knew I could make her tell me. She was so noble.

Being alone in a room with a monster had been one thing, but this was different. She was too self-sacrificing to just hand me the key to her people. She hadn't fully defied me, technically, but I wouldn't ask twice. She would learn.

I sighed. "I thought you were smarter than this."

Priest Skill: Dark Magic - Desecrate

I slammed my extraordinarily potent dark magics into the building but it skittered along the surface rather than seep into it. Something cracked, however, and the Light dimmed.

Priest Skill: Dark Magic - Desecrate

My power stained the building in places. The remaining Light flickered weakly.

Priest Skill: Dark Magic - Desecrate

The priestess stood stiffly, eyes wide as she watched me snuff out the Light magic protecting her home. She was shaking. Her whole concept of Light and hope and safety had been shattered. It was just a soulless stone building now, touched in several places by Melanoche's taint.

I turned back to the golden-haired priestess, who looked sick.

"What... are you?" she said softly, barely more than a whisper. She said it as if to herself, unsure she even wanted to know the answer.

I ignored it. "Now," I said, taking her by the back of the neck and marching her through the doors into the church. "I asked you a question and your response did not please me. I will remind you for the last time: the only choice you truly have to make in any scenario is to please me or suffer. You have chosen to suffer. It is time for your punishment."

She whimpered fearfully as I **** her into the large room in the center of the building. Naked, her breasts engorged and lazily dripping pale liquid, her entire front was smeared with a variety of fluids including fresh blood, my penis slime, her own drool and milk, dried cum and mud from her defeat hours before.

She was so cute, trying not to cry as I marched her out to face the stunned survivors of her village. Trying to be brave for them. She didn't even reach for her magic or move to cover herself.
