Day Three

Ethan was not a morning person. At least not when he wasn't in Green Valley. And yet, he woke up bright and early, refreshed and ready to tackle the day.

The shower last night helped, but that was only part of it. This was the best he’d felt in weeks, and he fully planned on using this momentum to get shit done.

Yard work.

After only thirty minutes Ethan remembered harshly how much he hated yard work. The lawn was less than half done when he slumped down on the stoop, taking a minute to consider his approach. ‘Fuck the lawn,’ Ethan decides, instead working on trimming down some bushes.

This didn't last long either before he pivoted again, now trying his best to cut back a wall of weeds around the perimeter.

After about another hour, Ethan was back on the stoop, progress made but behind.
