Day 3

John woke up to the sound of Yvette talking to someone. He groggily put his robe on and walked into the kitchen.

“Good morning, sleepy head,” Kim said. She wore her robe but her hair was wet.

“I see you beat me to breakfast.” John said sitting down to a plate of fruit covered pancakes. Kim was only a few bites into hers.

“Just barely. I just got out of the shower. Yvette is an interesting servant.”

“ yeah, she’s been here all the time.”

“Was she your sleepover last night?” Kim asked jokingly.

“I - I didn’t,” John said blushing.

Kim raised an eyebrow, “Okay…?” She said taking a sip of green tea.

Yvette began cleaning behind Kim. Causing John to get distracted. Kim turned around in time to see Yvette bend over while cleaning the lower shelf of a bookshelf.

Kim could feel jealousy build in her heart. She blushed and wiped her lips with a napkin. “I-I’m sorry but I should really get ready for Round 1. Thank you for reintroducing me to Star Wars…”

Kim stood up and headed towards the stairs down. John stopped her to give her a hug, “ I just wanted to let you know,” he said, “I can’t wait to see you here again.”

“Me too,” Kim said before kissing him passionately. “I just… need some time to get used to this.”
