David agrees to check out the house first.

"I'm not so sure we should trust that man. He seemed a bit creepy," Liz said, sounding worried.

"I don't know, the bloke seemed nice enough to me, luv." David said.

"Oh, there's nothing to worry about! Let's just get inside and throw a party! It's not like it's our house!" Carly said, clearly having too much to drink.

"Yeah, let's have a party!" Natalie agreed, also having too much to drink.

"Look, I really don't think there's anything to worry about," David said, stopping the car in front of the large house, "But if you're that worried, how about I go inside first to make sure everything's okay. If I don't come back just assume the place is haunted." David said, laughing to himself at the joke as he took his keys out of the ignition and slid them into his pocket.

"I just want to make sure everything's okay." Liz said, giving David a kiss on the cheek. "Just go check."

"Fine. I'll be back in a minute." David said as he got out of the car and closed the door behind him. He walked up the large stone staircase that lead to the double doors at the front of the house. It reminded him of those old mansions he was always seeing in movies. He pushed the front door open and walked into the house.

The main room of the house was huge, with several doors attaching it to different rooms, and two spiral staircases on either side. David briefly opened every door until he had checked all but one to make sure everything was all safe.

The only door left was larger than the rest by a good five feel. It was made of some kind of shiny black metal and engraved with symbols that David didn't recognize. He was getting a weird feeling from the door, but decided that he may as well check to be safe. He placed his hand on the metal door knob and pushed the door open...

The old man smiled when he felt the door being opened for the first time in over 20 years. His new demons would soon be in bodies once again and his plans would be able to move forward. Over the years, he was preparing his demons for this day. They all knew that once they got their freedom, they would be helping him to achieve his plans, and they were looking forward to it. If it meant they could have their fun, as well as eternal lives of freedom, it was a small price to pay.

The old man's smile became bigger as he felt the surge of power that came from one of his demons claiming a host. The old man laughed evilly...
