David Edmonds, a 23 year old planning on proposing

David was finally going to do it. After being best friends throughout their childhood and dating for 7 years, David was finally ready to propose to his beautiful girlfriend Rachel.

Despite only being 23, David has done pretty well for himself. He works as a manager at a hardwood store, which isn't anything special, but that's just his day job. More notably, he's an author who's published multiple books with moderate success. Sure, he's no best seller, but he's more successful than most authors.

Him and his girlfriend even share a starter home. It's really small, but there is just enough space for the two of them.

Anyways, we're getting off track. David and Rachel’s relationship has definitely had its ups and downs. They've had their fair share of fights, disagreements and couples therapy. But despite all that, and despite the fact that her family still hates him, they've stayed strong over the past 7 years. And today, he was finally ready to ask the big question.

He made sure his shirt was buttuned, that his fly wasn’t down and that his shoes were good to go. With a quick text to make sure their photographer was ready, he knew he was ready to go.

This wasn’t right. He was sitting in a chair, no, this wasn’t a chair, it was a throne. He was sitting on a throne in a beautiful garden. Sitting in front of him was a woman whose curves went on for days.

“Where am I?” The woman smirked and pointed up. He looked up and his throat dried up. Above the woman was a banner that said ‘Welcome to Harem Hotel’ going between two trees.

“Please don’t tell me that Harem Hotel is real.” A small smile pulled onto the woman’s face.

“Real as in it exists, yes. Real as in it’s within the same plain of reality that you are, no. People of your universe think you have the multiverse all figured out with your sci-fi stories and superhero movies, but you don’t. Not even close.” He looked at her in shock, his face telling her exactly that he was thinking. He took a few deep breaths before closing his eyes. When they opened, the look on his face was completely different. Instead of panicked, he looked deadly serious. The change was so sudden and complete that it made the woman flinch slightly.

“I’ve read enough of these stories to have a pretty good idea of what is going on here. You’re the host, and you’re going to bring in a bunch of women from my life and **** them to become a part of my Harem. Am I correct?” She gave him a sultry smile and a suggestive wink.

“Why yes darling, you are. My name is Esmeralda. I am happy to know that you are familiar with our show. I’m guessing you read it as an internet story a few years ago, but it disappeared.” He nodded, so she kept going “Our story takes on many different forms, but that is the one that is easiest for your simple brain to understand.” He tightened his hands into a fist and glared at her.

“I understand enough to know that you’re going to bring Rachel into this, and to know that stopping you from doing so is futile. And I wouldn’t want to live my life without her anyways. But I do have one question for you. Does she have a cuckolding path?” She raised an eyebrow at his question.

“Yes, she does. It is very common among contestants who are in a previous relationship with the Master.” He sat back in his throne with a calculating look on his face.

“I’m willing to make a deal. If you replace that with a path about her being my soulmate, or something along those lines, I’ll play along with your perverted little show.” A smirk spread across her face.

“Oh, you do know I could always **** your hand. There’s nothing you can do to stop me.” This time, it was his turn to smirk.

“That is true, but I can make your life a living hell. I can fight you tooth and nail, and rally everyone else to do the same. If you want a good show, and for me to cooperate, then take the deal. If not, this will be the most stressful thing you’ve ever done in your life.” He sat back in his throne, waiting for her answer. What he wasn’t expecting was for her smirk to turn into a beaming smile.

“That is exactly what I was expecting for you to do. In fact, that’s the only reason I gave your girlfriend a cuckolding path to begin with. Don’t get me wrong, I will give it to her anyways if you break your side of the deal. Looks like the two of us have a deal. I’d much rather have a healthy working relationship than not.” She held out her hand with a smile. David tightened his glare, knowing he just got played. But he shook her hand anyway. Trick or not, he still gets what he wants from this deal.

“You kidnapped me and multiple other people from my life, including the woman I was going to propose to. I don’t think a ‘healthy working relationship’ is in the cards for us.” She gave him a wink and blew a kiss.

“We shall see.” she clapped her hands, and 8 garden chairs appeared facing the throne. She gave a big, showman smile, and stood up in a dramatic and bouncy way.

“Everyone, welcome to Harem Hotel: If Only Addition. I am your host, Esmeralda, and this is our lovely Master, David. Now, join me in welcoming our first contestant.”
