Date night and more

So far, dinner was going great, Mark thought to himself. Or at least he hoped so and wasn’t being overly optimistic. He and Katie had returned to the restaurant from their very first date, and were enjoying a nice meal together.

“I’m glad we chose this restaurant again,” Katie said in between bites.

“Me too,” Mark agreed.

“So…” Katie said “I take it you want ask me something?”

"Well yes, but I'll take it one step at a time...I have bit of plan," Mark replied trying not to blush.

"Oh...I can hardly wait," Katie said reaching across the table and taking hold of Mark's hand. They had come a long way. They were best friends knew each other since since they were in diapers now they were lovers. This was all a dream to Katie, it was perfect. It would have been so too if Mark could not control time. She loved him and she knew he loved him too.

“I hope you enjoy what I have planned," Mark said as he squeezed her hand enjoy the feel of her delicate tan hand in his own. To think it was only last year where the girl before him was just his best friend. He really did not feel anything for her aside from something akin to a brother/sister relationship. Now he could not thinking about her and was utterly devoted to her. Bringing her into his time-stop powers was the best thing he ever did, it was truly the start of something magical.

"I'm sure it'll be perfect!' Katie smiled and blushed slightly.

STOP.

Everything around Mark and Katie stopped. Patrons were time-stopped while in the middle of eating or in conversation. Waitstaff and busser were suspended in mid-step as they darted about the dining room.

Mark eyed Katie smiling at him, his girlfriend just as frozen as everyone else. He let the look of her time-stopped form sink in. Mark never grew tired of it. For the evening Mark was dressed in a nice suit new Ashley had gifted him, it was the best piece of clothing he now owned. Katie was dressed in deep purple cocktail dress that popped against her suntanned skin. Marking the special occasion, Katie wore her hair out of its typical ponytail and down in waves. Mark could not help himself as she stood and reached over the table and dropped his hand down the front of her skimpy dress. He smirked to himself seeing that Katie was not in a bra. He felt her up for a few before sitting back down and then unfreezing her.

Katie became reanimated in a blink. She chuckled cutely as she looked around the time-stopped dinning room. "I like were this going...already..."

"May I invite you for a walk?" Mark asked as he stood and held a hand out.

"You may," Katie nodded and took his hand.

Hand in hand, the two exited the restaurant. Though the did take a pause at some of the cute looking staffers and patrons. The crowed eatery was soon left behind, no cared that the couple was gone thanks to time taking five. Mark and Katie strolled along the frozen river to a nearby park.

“Katie,” Mark began. “I have loved spending all my time with you, even before we made this more than a friends thing. I have come to realize that I want to continue this journey with you, forever..." As Mark laid out his feelings he led Katie towards a clearing. It was empty save for a kneeling time-stopped Indian woman holding a ring.

The Indian woman was dressed in leather pants and a revealing crop top. The outfit was tight on her flaunting her curvy form. Her thick long dark hair was worn loose and fell to the small of her back. Her dark eyes were blank while her mouth bore a wide toothy smile.

“Oh Mark!” Katie squealed with a bright smile. “Yes!” She kissed Mark in a deep passionate kiss. The frozen woman continues to stare at them vacantly but dutifully holding out the ring.

“So?” Katie asked breaking from the kiss, “who is this exactly?"

"Do you remember Sabrina Patel?" Mark asked as she petted the frozen woman's head.

"She looks familiar..." Katie pondered aloud as she looked at the woman dark eyes. She very pretty, how come she could not place her? Then it clicked. She turned to Mark and smiled. "The waitress!"

"Ding, ding," Mark nodded. "She's twenty years old and I froze her last night at her dorm along with her two dormmates. I have them back at the house time-stopped and waiting. Regina took care of things, no one will miss them. They are all yours."

Katie's eyes widened and she leaped into Mark's arms. "Really?"

"Yes, only the best for you," Mark said he kissed his fiancé deeply. This night had gone from just incredibly well to fantastic.
