Dark Elven Priestess Nikita Emberglow
The first hour had passed and the three beautiful elves prepared to make their move into through the portal. The beautiful dark elf stood at the forefront, backpack strapped securely her large foreboding sword in hands. “Lets be careful, in case betrayal is afoot.” She told the others.
The other two nodded, her lancer companion, drawing her katana, as her spear was to hard to wield with a backpack on. Instead she had strapped it to the back, that she carried. The noble carried nothing as it would prevent her from fighting.
Walking forward first, Nikita moved into the vortex. The world faded away, and her head spun. Movement without motion, dizziness without seeing, and then suddenly she was on the other side. Stepping forward she walked across the sandy cove she was standing in. Waves lapped against it gently. In front of her was a shear rock face, that cut the cove from the rest of the land.
She heard more then saw her companion, Brianna come through the portal next, as she stared at the wall. Their was one entrance, a tunnel that moved like a winding fissure through the rock face. Turning around, as her companion moved off to the side, she stared out across the water, into the darkness. Nothing seemed beyond.
As the monk came through the portal next, she saw the azure shimmer of the portal, and watched it vanish behind her. “We appear to be stuck here.” The priestess said, opening her eyes to the world of magic, and finding none.
“At least we have a moon to work with.” Brianna noted softly looking up into the dark sky, the luminescent orb big and bright.
“No sign of the camp, we should move down the tunnel. Perhaps they made camp ahead.” The busty dark elf mused, turning and heading into the fissure. A few short minutes brought them to a small chamber, ever burning torches keeping it lit. The chamber, if you could call it that, was sheer face, on the other side. A drop into oblivion, and from it stretched three paths, made supernaturally bent wood, that extended out and away from each other.
“Some of our city’s use these kinds of roads.” Brianna noted, staring out into the humongous forest. The trees were huge, like old elven growths from their homeland.
“The humans should have made camp here. They must have moved on, to find whatever they could. Its not a breach of the truce, but we still have the Nomads behind us. “We'll drop the gear here. Split up and scout ahead. Twenty minutes, then turn back. Should leave us with enough time, to decide to wait, or press on together.”
The other two nodded, as the lancer set down her own pack, against the rock wall. With one last look at her two companions, the busty priestess chose a bridge, and trekked across it. Within twenty minutes the bridge finally arrived at a large landing, almost like one of the old trees had been cut in half, to make a space. But the space was empty. Glancing around, she found the path continued on, but it would have been reckless to keep going.
Turning she began to head back to the bridge she had come from, when the ground began to shake. Suddenly the wood beneath her feet collapsed and she plummeted into the dark. The world went black, and she felt the rush, as she fell toward her demise. The ground came suddenly, and then nothing.
She hurt. Everything hurt. Her body was a large mass of throbbing pain. Opening her eyes, she could see light. It was fuzzy at first, and things were moving. Blobs of skittering along the ground. She held still, as the world began to focus. She was in a sort of wooden cavern, phosphorous moss clung to the ceiling causing the world to glow a soft blue. The skittering blobs were spiders.
What does Nikita do?
