Danny sets up the shoot

Danny spoke with Caroline on the phone, and they made plans to work near the fountain in the park. This was a great place for an initial shoot. There were public restrooms, a wide open grassy area, the fountain was always a good look, and Danny found that the energy of the park (and particularly of the fountain) brought out some great pictures.

Danny arrived about a half hour early. He wanted to scope out the area, make sure there was space available, that there wouldn't be any conflicts with other events or anything. He also liked to set up his portable studio -- tripod lamps with reflector umbrellas, a rolling cabinet of batteries, cables, bulbs, even some basic hair and makeup stuff, multiple cameras with lenses, shields, and hoods, and a portable changing station.

The portable changing station was pretty flimsy, if he was being honest. It popped up and stood tall thanks to so-called tension wire. It was about eight feet tall, and claimed to be enough space for an adult to change inside and maintain privacy. Truth was that the sides didn't totally close, it was awfully narrow inside, and Danny found that most people frankly would prefer to just change in public that try to squeeze into it. Nevertheless, he brought it.

He also had a foldout set of screens that some models preferred. It was only about 5' high, and it was open on the top, which meant that although it shielded a lot from the public, it was still somewhat exposed and ****.
