DCM MJ & Kori's apartment

"So we've got a couple of days before your sister gets here?" DCM MJ asked Kori, looking at the picture of the three of them that they had just sent.

"Factoring the travelling time between the Vega system and this one, that is an accurate estimate," Kori confirmed. "I believe she will be here in no less than 48 hours..."

"All right. So what do we do until then?" LSV MJ asked. "I don't think there's anything else we can do to prepare."

Kori smiled, looking at both Mary Janes, a mischievous look on her face. "We find a way to pass the time..."

"Mmm. I like the way you think," DCM MJ grinned, grabbing Kori's arm and pulling her girlfriend closer.

"Oh? So you know what I'm thinking now?" A coy Kori teased.

"When it comes to sex? Yeah, I'd say so," DCM MJ giggled, kissing Kori. "I'm pretty sure you know what I'm thinking, too."

"As a matter of fact, I believe I do, Mary Jane Watson," Kori purred. She turned to the LSV MJ, extending her hand. "And you, other MJ? Can you guess what we are thinking?"

LSV MJ looked at both Kori and her doppelganger, and grinned knowingly. "I know me pretty well, so I'm pretty sure I can," she replied, taking Kori's hand.

DCM MJ grinned, loving the direction this was headed. "So... if I were to tell you to go fuck yourself... you wouldn't mind?" she asked LSV MJ.

"Not at all," LSV MJ smirked. DCM MJ leaned in closer, oh so eager to finally kiss her doppelganger and realize her fantasy. LSV MJ leaned in as well, closing her eyes, ready to feel her counterpart's lips on hers. Kori bit her lip in anticipation, her excitement growing to a level she'd never experienced before as the two Mary Janes' lips were about to touch...

...only to be interrupted by a blast that took out the apartment window. LSV MJ's symbiote immediately covered her body, providing a shield for her and the others.

Red Lantern Mary Jane hovered in through the hole she'd just blasted in the window, her eyes red with fury, her face twitching with rage. "KORIAND'R!" she shrieked, her voice dripping with spite.

Kori looked at her girlfriend's Red Lantern counterpart, sadness in her eyes. "X'Hal... MJ... what happened to you?"

RL MJ glared at Kori, ready to destroy the Tamaranean. "You happened to me! You tore my heart out and left it to fucking rot!"

"I... you mean my counterpart?" Kori asked. "She did that to you?"

"Yeah, she did!" RL MJ snarled. "And I'll make her pay... I'll make her suffer!"

"And what does any of that have to do with them?!" LSV MJ asked. "This Kori didn't do anything to you!"

"She's still Koriand'r! They're all the fucking same!" RL MJ retorted. "You... you think she loves you, don't you?" she hissed at the DCM MJ, who had grabbed ahold of Kori's hand. "She doesn't! She's using you -- just like she used me! She'll break your fucking heart, just like she broke mine!"

"MJ... I would never..." Kori whimpered to her girlfriend.

"I know, babe." DCM MJ's grip on Kori's hand tightened, and she spoke to her counterpart. "Look, whatever happened between you and your Kori, I'm sorry. It obviously hurt you deeply, and I wish we could fix that for you. But this woman here? She's not your Kori -- she's mine. And I know she loves me -- she loves me every bit as much as I love her. Probably more... and I love her more than anything."

"Is that it, then? You get to be happy with your Kori while I wallow in misery because mine threw me away? NO! THAT IS NOT FUCKING FAIR!" RL MJ shrieked. "Fine! If I can't tear you two apart, I'll tear you to shreds!"

RL MJ lunged straight at Kori and DCM MJ, murderous intent in her eyes. She was cut off by the LSV MJ, who nailed her with a kick that knocked her out of the building.

"That bitch! She ruined my dinner!" Nympho's voice echoed in LSV MJ's head. "I'll eat her face for that!"

"Looks like our guest arrived early, huh?" LSV MJ said to Kori & DCM MJ. "I'll try and keep her busy, you two call for backup."

DCM MJ nodded at her counterpart. "Gotcha. Good luck out there, other MJ."

"Try not to hurt her... she can't help herself," Kori added.

"I'll try, Kori," LSV MJ nodded, leaping out the broken window to face her angry self, hoping she could keep her counterpart busy until the cavalry arrived.

"MJ, I'm sorry. I could have fought back, but I... I couldn't hurt her..." Kori said sadly.

DCM MJ embraced Kori, stroking her lover's hair reassuringly. "It's OK, babe. I understand. Right now, other me might need some backup. Let's call the Green Lanterns."
