Kelly Tanner was cursing her boyfriend out in her head. Him asking her to pick up some beer for him led to her into dealing with a psychopath of some sort. "There was blood everywhere! The place reeked of blood and sex" she thought. She regretted leaving her cell in the car. Kelly figured she would be in and out in minutes. Kelly just wanted to get home and get in the bath with some wine.
The fluorescent lights in the parking lot begin flickering. Throwing shadows in every direction was freaking out the late 20's brunette.
"Miss?..............Miss?" Kelly jumped at the sound of the voice which made her drop her purse. She turned around to look at the voice but there was no one there. Kelly bent over to pick up the purse.
"Miss?" The voice came from right next to her and Kelly jumped again.
"Fuck! You scared me." When Kelly realized the voice came from the bloodied guy behind the liquor counter she immediately went into a defensive position. She half expected him to have a butcher knife.
"Sorry about that. Beautiful night isn't it?" Kelly looked at the odd man with wide eyes.
"Oh! You forgot your change from the beer."
"It's .....it's fine......keep it. My boyfriend is waiting for me." Kelly stammered
"Nonsense. It's your money." Kelly hesitantly takes the money from the man's hand and throws it in her purse.
"Well I do have an ulterior motive in coming outside. I do have a question for you" the man says with a glint in his eyes.
