Cunning Hinata

When Hinata and Naruto entered the Master's room, the atmosphere was tense. Everyone remembered the night before. Hinata decided to break the silence.

Hinata: Do you think I should try to resuscitate my mother?

Naruto looked at her for a moment before lowering his eyes.

Naruto: I never had a parent. I don't know what it's like to be held in a mother's arms. I cannot answer this question.

Hinata: So, you won't blame me if I betray during the mini game?

Naruto: I won't appreciate that for sure, but I can understand. Nothing is more important than your family. You are lucky to have one.

Hinata then took him in her arms.

Hinata: Master, you also have a family. All the girls are now your family. We will support each other and make you happy.

Naruto: Thank you Hinata but it's different. None of you chose to be here. You can't call that a real family.

Hinata: Because a child chooses the family in which he is born.

Naruto: No but...

Hinata: Without wanting to offend you, Master, I find that you use a lot of 'Yes but' or 'No but'. The questions are simple and deserve only 'yes' or 'no'. So, do you want to have a family?

Naruto: Yes!

Hinata: Do you like me?

Naruto: Yes!

Hinata: Do you agree with me being a member of your family?

Naruto: Yes!

Hinata: Do you want to marry me?

Naruto: Yes! Wait what?

Hinata: I want it too, so we're engaged now.

Naruto: Hinata what was that?

Hinata: That Master was the only way I found to give you a smile and incidentally got me engaged to you. But then if you don't want to marry me, we can always cancel our engagement.

Naruto: That's not it Hinata it's just that I feel like everything is going way too fast. We're not even together.

Hinata: Yet I remember many meetings between us.

Naruto: Those memories are fake.

Hinata: I understand. And I imagine that therefore the feelings that we have for each other are just as false. You know what Master I think it's best that I ask Elizabeth to eliminate me so that the true and the false will cease to matter.

Naruto: Hinata, I love you! Whatever we go through will remain true and the rest doesn't matter. You want us to be engaged and well we are engaged but before that there is something I have to do that I should have done before.

He came forward, kissed her chastely, then knelt down.

Naruto: Hinata Hyuga will you marry me?

Hinata: Yes, I do.

Hinata was crying with joy. They ended the evening, entwined together as if time itself could not separate them.
