Cult Destruction

Take hits one of the cultists with force lance and takes aim at the other cultist with a bow. He aims back at her and fires, but Malphiel moves into the path of the arrow. She grunts as it hits her in the side, but she rushes him and punches him to the ground with the gauntlets. She turns on the lead cultist as Take forces the other archer recovering from the force lance to retreat, dodging her own arrows before she suddenly vanishes.

The cult leader fights Malphiel, Malphiel is easily stronger than him and his puny knife has little chance to get through her armor regardless, forcing him on the defensive.

The remaining archer struggles, trying to find Take as she sneaks around cloaked before uncloaking directly beside him, her Ninjato slashing out and cutting his hands from his wrists. He screams and collapses. The leader realizes he's alone with Take and Malphiel approaching him.

"Wait... I surrender," he says raising his hands. The two women hesitate and then his hands move clapping together. Vines burst from the ground beneath the two of them. They entangle Malphiel quickly, but Take with her blade ready manages to quickly cut herself free and she charges at him.

"Gh, don't!" he starts before Take buries her Ninjato in his chest. He crumples to the ground and the vines wither.

The fight is over almost as quickly as it started. The leader is dead, one of the archers is unconscious, the other is missing his hands and harmless, screaming in the corner. Take goes to release the goblin who immediately thanks her with a big hug.

"Thankies! Gako was so scared!" she says. Malphiel heals the disarmed archer, stopping him from bleeding out and then drags him over to the other archer.

"Tell me what's happening on this floor. Who's Lord Windgrace and what happened to..." Take hesitates, "Goma, Isalia and Izzy?" she asks.

"Lord Windgrace learned about Beastie, Lord Windgrace overthrow Magritte, enslave Goblins and recruit long ears to cult! Trapped Goma and Isalia down in deep, block path so they can't return. Izzy... He... He not bad guy. Izzy just... Growing," she says sounding a little nervous at the end. "don't hurt him. He still goblin Child! Pride and joy!" she says suddenly defensively.

"It sounds like this Lord Windgrace affected some sort of coup? Based around this cult? I don't know who Goma, Isalia or Izzy are, but it sounds like Lord Windgrace didn't want them interfering and Izzy... Might have done something bad?" Take suggests, trying her best to parse the goblin's explanation.

Malphiel forces the healed archer to his feet and slips his hood off. He's an elf and he swallows fearfully. "Tell us what's going on. Tell us about the cult!" she commands.

"The new Goblin Leader, he told us the truth about the beast. Lust isn't a bad thing, it is the path to pleasure and enjoyment. We are deprived unfairly. The goblins disobeyed the natural order, refused to indulge our lust, the Dark Elves were the same. Lord Windgrace, the Beast, they are just trying to make things right again. Women exist to serve and pleasure men!" the Archer explains and Malphiel responds by punching him in the nose making him choke and stagger, almost falling over except for Malphiel still holding him. "Fuck! fucking... Bitch..." he growls, blood dripping from his nose. "The Breaker will catch you two eventually. He's the Beast's gift left to us. Once he's done with you, I'll enjoy fucking your hole until it's ruined!" he declares and Malphiel calmly punches him again. This time letting him fall to the ground.

"This Breaker seems like the Monster for this floor," Malphiel suggests and Take nods.

"I suppose then we should find it, but also it seems like dealing with Lord Windgrace might be beneficial as well. So... We can continue forward down the path we were going or head back to that place where the sign seemed to imply the goblins lived under Lord Windgrace's command," Take suggests.
