Cue Ball Contention

Jace smiled at the busty brunette before him, who called herself Hollie.

Hollie was a tall girl with brown hair, brown eyes, a voluptuous hourglass body, only made more impressive with large breasts and a curvy ass.

“I’m Jace. Nice to meet you.” Jace grinned.

“Likewise.” Hollie smiled.

“Which town are you from go?” Jace asked curiously.

“Redwater.” Hollie replied with a nod, “You’re Amethyst Shore, right? I saw you stand up and wink at Tish Hardaway.”

Jace chuckled at the teasing tone to her voice.

“I did do that. Do you think Rex saw?” Jace wondered.

“No, he was too busy making puppy dog eyes at the captain of the Azure Rocks team. Jack, I think his name was.” Hollie said.

“Uh, Zack, maybe.” Jace said.

“Oh, yeah, that may have been it.” Hollie nodded, “But yeah, Rex kept looking over at that guy.”

“Huh. Wonder if he’s Rex’s pick to win.” Jace said thoughtfully. Hollie leaned in, talking in a low voice.

“I’d say it’s very probable. We might need to be careful of interference from Rex to make Zack win.” Hollie warned.

“I didn’t even think about that. Yeah, I’m not sure Rex is the kind of guy to be impartial.” Jace agreed, glancing over at where Rex was talking to someone he didn’t recognize, but Rex was obviously scanning the crowd for someone.

His eyes landed on Jace and Hollie, and they tightened slightly seeing the blond and the brunette looking at him, then moved on.

Jace and Hollie looked at each other.

“Hey, J.” Izzy said, walking up, “Who’s this?”

“Hollie Hart, Redwater.” Hollie extended her hand.

“Isabelle Holland, Amethyst Shore.” Izzy replied, smiling a little.

“We’re cousins.” Jace explained.

“You two look alike.” Hollie nodded, looking back and forth between Jace and Isabelle.

“Thanks.” Izzy said genuinely, then turned to Jace, “Hey, we’re heading out for a tour of the rec center. You want to come, too? Amy, David, and Emily have all vanished, so it’s just you, me, and Sky going.”

“A tour sounds good.” Jace nodded, and looked at Hollie, “You wanna come, too?”

“May as well.” Hollie smiled at Jace, and she joined the blond cousins as they walked across the dining hall.

Jace, Izzy, Hollie, and Skylar walked into the rec center and Jace looked around, honestly pretty impressed at what this small summer camp had to offer.

There was a ton of vintage arcade games, pool tables, foosball tables, ping pong tables, along with armchairs, loveseats, and plenty of additional seating options.

“Damn! Look at this place!” Jace enthused, looking around. A little bit across the room, a sexy dark haired girl who was leaning over a pool table straightened, said a quick goodbye to a blond guy she was standing with and came over to Jace and his group.

“Hi, guys! I’m Lolly Matcham, welcome to the rec center.” the girl introduced.

Lolly had long, dark brown hair, enchanting blue-green eyes which actually reminded Jace of his own eyes, medium-sized breasts, and a toned ass that Jace could see really well in the tight pair of shorts she wore. She also wore a red top with the YSC logo on it.

“Thanks. I’m Jace Holland, it’s a pleasure.” Jace grinned at Lolly.

“God, you’re insufferable.” Izzy rolled her eyes.

“What? I’m just meeting new people.” Jace complained.

“Well, it’s great to meet you, too, Jace.” Lolly smiled, and she held up her hands.

“You guys found your way here into the room which is usually for our older campers, but I suppose you detectives will be using it quite a lot here during your week.” Lolly explained. Jace nodded while trying not to (openly) ogle her fantastic ass in those shorts.

“I certainly plan to be here a lot.” Izzy beamed, looking at the foosball table. As if summoned, a dark haired girl appeared and practically dragged Izzy away to play foosball.

“Well, that was weird.” Skylar said, and walked after Izzy and the dark haired girl.

Jace and Hollie were left alone with Lolly and Jace nodded to the pool tables.

“You play?” he asked Lolly.

“Oh, yeah, I do. I’m pretty good.” Lolly said, with a quiet confidence in her ability, not much bragging.

“I bet I could take you with ease, Jace.” Hollie said. Now that was bragging.

“As if.” Jace replied, and Hollie grinned.

“You guys playing pool?” a voice asked with interest. The trio turned around to see a short blond girl with a petite body, crystal blue eyes, medium sized breasts, and the kind of beauty women paid vast sums of money for, but this girl was clearly all natural.

“Yup. I’m about to kick his ass.” Hollie said sweetly.

“You wish.” Jace retorted.

“Your comebacks could use some work.” Hollie said dryly.

“Yeah, right.” Jace replied.

Lolly snorted, and looked to the blond girl.

“You’re welcome to join us, if you want. I’m Lolly.” Lolly smiled.

“I’m Ashley Woodsen.” the blond girl waved.

“Jace Holland.” Jace nodded, quirking a confident, charming smile at Ashley.

“Hollie Hart.” Hollie replied, quirking a similar smile to Jace. Ashley looked between the two in confusion.

“Are you two together?” Ashley asked.

“No, we just met ten minutes ago.” Jace said, entirely serious.

“Really?” Ashley asked in surprise. Hollie nodded.

“Wow. You two seem very competitive to have just met.” Ashley said.

“Maybe we’re just too similar.” Hollie smirked at Jace, who grinned back.

“Maybe.” he said, shaking his head in amusement.

“So, if there’s four of us, do we want to do 2v2?” Lolly questioned the three teens.

“Sounds good to me.” Jace nodded.

“So long as Jace and I are on opposite teams.” Hollie amended. Lolly laughed.

“Alright, Jace, you’re with me then.” Lolly smiled, and Jace happily joined the sexy brunette who was probably about two years his senior.

Ashley joined Hollie, and everyone grabbed pool cues.

“You can break.” Jace told Hollie with a confident smile. She grinned, and made her way to the tip of the triangular arrangement of the pool balls.

“Left corner pocket.” Hollie said with a wink at Jace.

“You don’t have to call out when you’re break-“ Jace cut off as Hollie sent the white cue ball flying forwards where it made a loud crash when it hit the triangle arrangement, but sure enough, the scarlet striped 11 ball dropped into the left corner pocket.

“Guess we’re solids.” Lolly nudged Jace.

“Your turn.” Hollie told Ashley in a rather flirtatious way, Jace noticed. Ashley smiled at Hollie and took a few seconds surveying the board. She sank the blue striped 10 ball and Hollie let out a whoop, grabbing Ashley by the waist and hugging her.

“I knew I picked right.” Hollie grinned.

“I’m getting worried they’re going to not let us have a turn.” Lolly confided to Jace as Hollie sank a third ball.

It was Ashley’s turn to hug Hollie now, and then the blond started planning her shot.

“Yeah, me too.” Jace muttered.

“You shouldn’t have let them go first.” Lolly chuckled, the smile on her face proving the absence of malice in her tone.

“I guess not.” Jace said wryly.

Ashley came over to Jace and Lolly’s side of the table for this shot, and Jace couldn’t help but admire her fantastic ass in the jeans she was wearing as she bent over the pool table.

Lolly innocently dropped her pool cue just as Ashley put momentum forwards to hit the ball. Ashley jumped at the sudden sound, and her pool cue lurched, just barely hitting the white cue ball. It rolled forwards a few centimeters. Hollie sent Jace a quick, competitive glare which made him chuckle.

“Oops, my bad.” Lolly said, and bent to recover the pool cue, which just gave Jace another incredible ass to ogle.

Lolly straightened and looked at Jace, who’s view was thankfully level with her eyes at that moment, not a bit lower down.

“Do you wanna go first, or should I?” Lolly asked.

“After you.” Jace said, and the dark haired girl gave Jace a smile as she lined up her shot.

“You’re a competitor, right?” Jace asked Ashley as Lolly lined up her shot.

“Yep.” Ashley nodded.

“Which town are you from?” Jace inquired.

“I’m from Azure Rocks.” Ashley said, “How about you?”

“Amethyst Shore.” Jace replied.

“That’s the one right on the beach in California, right?” Ashley asked, “I was trying to place the location of all of the competing towns.”

“Well, you got my town right. Yep, we are in California, right on the coast. It’s gorgeous there.” Jace said.

“Sounds amazing.” Ashley smiled.

“It is.” Jace agreed, “Warm pretty much year round. I’d advise against going into the water in January, but you won’t have to bundle up for cold or anything.”

“Oh, that sounds like fun. Some friends and I were talking a few weeks ago about places to go over the summer break before we start college. Maybe I’ll bring your town up.” Ashley said with a shrug.

“We’d love to have you.” Jace grinned.

“Your turn.” Lolly said, and Jace looked up to see she had sunk two different solid colored balls.

Across the table, Hollie looked stunned and Jace wondered if Lolly had gotten both with one shot.

Jace lined up an easy shot, and sank the dark red 7.

Lolly patted him on the back, which was hardly the enthusiastic hugs Hollie and Ashley shared whenever one of them sank a ball, but Jace had to focus on the game.

He lined up a second pretty easy shot, this one with the blue 2, and sank that one.

Only the yellow 1, the scarlet 3, and the green 6 remained.

“Had to balance our contributions.” Jace grinned at Lolly, stepping back to let her have a turn.

Lolly chuckled softly to herself, then leaned over to aim the cue ball at the 6, a rather tricky shot. Hollie tried the same pool cue drop, but Lolly didn’t even flinch as she sent the cue ball rolling across the table where it hit the 6, sent it to the very edge of the pocket… then stopped.

“What?!” Jace exclaimed.

“No rocking the table!” Hollie ordered instantly, and Lolly quickly backed up from the table, bumping her sensational ass right up against Jace, who had for sure not been standing behind her to ogle her ass while she shot.

“Hi.” Jace said, a bit surprised but grinning.

“Hi to you, too.” Lolly laughed.

“Alright, Ashley. Redemption.” Hollie encouraged her petite teammate.

“I’m trying.” Ashley said, her blue eyes clearly focused hard on her shot.

“No pool cue drops this time.” Hollie glared at Lolly, who was still standing right in front of Jace watching Ashley shoot.

Ashley sank the striped green 14 easily. Hollie stepped up and sank the striped purple 12.

The two girls high-fived.

“This isn’t good.” Jace warned Lolly, who’s ass was still pressed against him. The dark haired girl seemed oblivious of that, though, a competitive streak rising, as she visibly stewed over Hollie and Ashley’s successes.

Next came the striped yellow 9 from Ashley. The only issue for Ashley and Hollie came from the fact that this shot dropped Lolly’s 6 into the hole, but that didn’t prevent Ashley and Hollie from going again.

The striped orange 13 dropped into a hole, then the striped blue 10, and then, lastly, the striped red 15.

The two girls hugged tightly, and Ashley looked kinda flushed when they separated, but then Ashley had the pressure of the 8 ball.

Hollie walked up behind Ashley and wrapped an arm around her.

“You can do this.” Hollie encouraged softly. Ashley’s cheeks were a little red as she kept glancing at Hollie, who was murmuring encouragement to Ashley in a low, almost silky tone.

Ashley called out left corner pocket on the other end of the table, and sent the ball flying, but Hollie had had the opposite influence on Ashley than the one she’d wanted. The 8 ball collided with the solid yellow 1 ball, and took an abrupt turn into the right middle pocket.

There was a pause, and then Jace and Lolly cheered. Lolly turned around to throw her arms around Jace, and he embraced her back, tightly.

“Good game, guys.” Jace said to Hollie and Ashley when he and Lolly stopped hugging. He extended his hand, which Ashley shook, and Hollie did so, too, albeit a little reluctantly.

“We need to have a rematch, Holland.” Hollie said firmly.

“We’ve got all week, Hart.” Jace grinned back at her.
