Cry for pity

Ginny was a girl from a wealthy family, which made her way too dependent on their money. She was incredibly lazy, hasn’t the slightest idea how the world works, and was as dumb as a brick. The combination of Ginny draining her parents bank account, and the fact that she has to repeat her final year of high school for the fourth time, let to parents doing the following…

“What do you mean with ‘you can’t use my credit card to buy designer clothes anymore’?” Yelled Ginny.

“Well, exactly as I say. Your grades have been atrociously bad, especially compared to your previous years.” Commanded her dad.

“Hey, I remembered the multiple choice test answers I got right from last year. I just thought that we would get the same test this year as well.”

“Unbelievable. And that is nothing compared to how much you spent on clothes.” Her mom hold up the credit card bill to Ginny’s face.

“It’s not that much. It’s only a thousand dollars over a year.”

“Ginny, that comma is a smudge. It’s a hundred thousand! IN A MONTH!”

“But did you have to return everything I’ve bought in the last year?”

“Unless we want to go bankrupt, yes. But we got got you some clothes from the thrift store.”

“THE THRIFT STORE?! I’ll be mocked relentlessly by my friends!”

“Too bad, because it’s either this, or nothing.”

Ginny growled as she went to her room. “Oh my God, I hate them!” She looked at the jeans and shirt her parents had prepared, when a plan (well, half a plan) popped into her head. “Screw it, I’ll go to the clothing store and buy something new. I’ll die before wearing that!”

As Ginny inspected the clothes in the store in the buff, a clerk looked at her in surprise. “Erm, miss, you-“

“Ahh, just who I need. I need to look at your latest most, expensive clothes.

“And how would you like to pay for those? I see no money on you.”

“Errrrmmmm…” mumbled Ginny. “I knew I forgot something!”
