What policy is voted in ?
Criminal justice reform - The "Mudbood" Box
"Lifting the ban on the controversial "Mudblood" boxes, thus allowing there usage in criminal justice reform.
Many countries have successfully used these devices to pacify dissidents muggleborns populations. And have then manged to reintegrate these former criminals into society. This is exactly what we need as a empire, our single biggest weakness is how much time and effort we have wasted with infighting.
I truly believe a unified British empire is unbeatable one. Which is why I find myself proposing this legislation albeit with a heavy heart.
Some may balk at using vampire derived devices, given there infamous historical usage against wizards. I will not white wash these boxes, they absolutely can be used to commit heinous acts of villainy.
But is the same not true of many other things ? Such as magic itself ?
It is this chambers duty though legislation to make rules, shape culture and write laws to iron out such magics and make them into useful tools to the empire.
I believe that with proper safe guards in place we can humanely make use of such training devices, to increase unity without the need for long term imprisonment or **** for those who are simply misguided.
"
- Lord Thomas Marvolo Slytherin of the 9th circle, Wizengamot senior member, Half blood rights advocate
While controversial the motion to allow the usage of these boxes did PASS, with many caveats and "safe guards" in place. Most controversial was the sub-vote to allow for a suppressed mode to be used on Half bloods.

The statute of supremacy
For the greater good.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely. A far more powerful Wizarding world, that has spent far more time on developing their magic than their morals, holds the fate of muggles and mugleborns in it's hands.
