Crest-Cove City, where People wear Less than Expected

Within a few minutes, Kory reached the city ahead. From what she could see, Crest-Cove was your typical coastal town. It had a beach, a boardwalk connecting to the rest of the city, buildings no bigger than two stories. There were no roads for cars, with the biggest thing on them being a light rail.

However, as Kory got closer, making sure she couldn't be spotted, she noticed something about the citizens: most of them were wearing very little clothing. At most, they just wore thin shirts over what was clearly swimwear. Many of the guys, and even a few women, went topless.

“Oh, okay,” Kory said to herself in relief. In her personal experience, most people on Earth had issues with nudity, especially in public. She remember the few times where one of her friends had to stop Kory from going out because the clothes she chose to wear didn't cover enough of her body. She even remembered when Donna had to explain the concept of swimwear to her. So, seeing a town where people wore less than usual gave her a bit of hope that the local law officials would be lenient with her nudity.

Still, she thought, better safe than sorry, as they say. So, she looked ahead, hoping to find the best route as to not be spotted when-

BOOM!

Suddenly, a tram was thrown off the track by a huge beast. The monster was quad-pedal, covered in tar black scales, and roared with fury. Many of the people began screaming and running from it, as the beast tore apart everything in its path.

Kory was stunned for a short moment, wondering where did this thing come from. But then, she spotted a young woman who fell unto the ground right in the beast's path.

She wasted no time, flying straight into the monster and punching it across the street. She then turned to the woman on the ground, quickly helped her up, and asked, “Are you alright?” The woman, however, was visibly stunned, looking up and down Kory's naked body, and couldn't seem to get out a verbal response.

Somehow, Kory wasn't really surprised. Then, the beast roared from behind her, clearly angry, getting the two's attention. Oh well, Kory thought, can't worry about me being naked right now.

She shot a few star-bolts at the monster, while she quickly shouted out, “Quickly, flee now! I will keep it occupied!” As soon as the beast recovered, Kory flew towards it again, dealing another powerful blow. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the young woman fleeing with the other citizens.

“Alright,” Starfire said aloud, as the beast glared at her, “Let us make this quick, shall we?”
