Create safeguards

You immediately pull the stone and your now sweaty hand out of your pocket. You wash you hand so you don't drop the stone. Then you make your first safeguard

Y: *first I need to keep this power under my control* "I wish the stone could only grant my wishes"

Y: "I wish to be transported to a white room in the shape of a cube, with a pedestal in the center with this stone place on top, every unite which the current me would perceive as 24 hours, or whenever I am unconscious"

Y: "I wish to be transported to said room whenever I want to"

Y: "I wish that while in said room, I maintain the physical form I have while making this whish"

Y: "I wish that while in the room, my conciseness is as it currently is with only additional wisdom being provided"

Y: "I wish that while in the room, I will have a memory of all actions taken in the room and actions taken outside of the room"

Y: "I wish that my brain be able to store unlimited amounts of information"

Y: "I wish that while in the room I will have an all knowing assistant who will tell me of all the changes that will occur from my wishes, will prevent from making wishes that would impede my ability to make wishes, and provide any information I desire"

You continued listing off safeguards until you made your last wish with the current stone

Y: "I wish the only copy of the stone that existed was the one in the room"

The stone suddenly ceased to exist. Panic immediately filled your mind wondering wether the stone in the room even works

Y: *shit I should have tested the other stone!*

Y: *take me to the room!*

You open your eyes to see bright walls on all sides, a mannequin like figure standing in one of the coroners, and a clear stone in the center. You approach the stone and make the wish you've wanted to make this whole time.

Y: "I wish I had been born a girl, and been named Emily"

You immediately feel a rush of memories, but they all still follow the same life trajectory as you have now. You also feel your skin soften and body shrink.

You being to weep realizing you finally have chance at true happiness.
