Course Rules

“Ok! To recap!” Clay said as he slammed his now empty beer can down on the counter of the small shack that the mini golf course used as a clubhouse.

“The game is Strip Mini Golf! The rules are as follows!” He brushed his shaggy sandy hair back out of his face as he continued. “We are playing 18 holes no matter what! Standard course rules. 6 stroke limit per hole. If a ball goes out of play there is a stroke penalty.”

“Clay. We know how to play mini golf.” Tiff teased as she finished her beer and added her can to the pile of empties they’d accumulated as they waited for the country club to clear out.

“Just recapping in case you didn’t. Keep your panties on geez. You’ll be taking them off soon enough as it is.” He winked at Tiff.

“As I was saying… at the end of each hole we count the amount of strokes we each had. Whomever has the highest amount of strokes has to remove an article of clothing. A pair of shoes count as one item as do a pair of socks. That means us guys have 5 items and you girls have 6.”

“Thanks for the gentlemanly advantage.” Tiff interjected again. Clay ignored her. “If at the end of a hole 2 or 3 people are tied for the worst score all of them have to strip.”

“I’d like to point out again that doesn’t seem fair.” Amy said as she sipped her beer. She was the smallest of the group of 4 and was already starting to feel the buzz.

“Listen more than likely it’s going to be the case that we have multiple ties. No one’s gonna get naked if we don’t have that rule.” Clay protested.

“I’m ok with that…” Amy muttered under her breath for no one else to hear.

“How about this,” Carson stepped in, “If the tie is for 4 strokes or more then the folks that tied strip, but if it’s 3 or less we call that hole a push and move on.”

“Deal. But I want the double punishment for 6’s like we talked about then.” Clay brought back an original idea they’d had. Since the stroke limit for a hole was 6 anyone who scored a 6 would have to remove two articles of clothing.

“I’m ok with that.” Carson said.

“I was for it from the beginning.” Tiff smiled.

“Come on guys! Aren’t you worried about the game going too quickly?” Amy tried to protest but she’d already been outvoted. Clay moved on.

“If we all tie on a hole then the winner of the previous hole decides who strips.”

“I’m ok with that but it should be like the other tie rule. Only 4 strokes or above. 3 strokes and under we call it a push. Shouldn’t be punished for good play.” Carson said as he grabbed himself another beer.

“Fine.” Clay conceded. “I think that’s it. Any questions?”

“What happens when someone’s naked? Do they get dressed?” Amy asked hopefully.

“Oh definitely not.” Tiff laughed. “Like Clay said we’re playing the full 18. Shouldn’t stop just cause you’re naked.”

“But what if a naked person loses a hole?” Amy regretted asking as soon as she said it aloud.

“I think they should have to do a dare.” Again it was Tiff who answered. The other two quickly agreed.

“But you know what?” It was Carson now. “That dare should go to the person that won the hole. Or if there was a tie for who won they get to decide together.”

“Naturally. Only fair.” Clay responded casually.

“But they shouldn’t have to use that dare tonight. They should be able to save it and use it later.”

“Oh that’s good. I like it!” Tiff immediately responded. Amy held her tongue. She knew she’d be out voted in any decisions from here out.

“And the tie rule for below four strokes only applies for stripping. If you’re naked and tied with someone, you don’t get to avoid collecting a dare.” Clay finally suggested. The group nodded. Even Amy who while she was seriously starting to regret joining this outing also couldn’t escape the feeling of excitement she could tell was brewing inside her.
