Chapter 28

What's next?
Core Beast Union
Since you had most of your old memories you figured that you could have some luck dealing with the Core Beast Union, despite the fact that you were Native and no longer a traveler. Milk seemed happy and somewhat confident, but she had been out of commission for quite a while, as were you. So much could have changed. Sphinx was no help, as he mostly concerned himself with Aoian politics. Heading to the Union, you began by simply going north and hopping to each town along the way. The trip took about a week to get close. The border was a flat plain with some desert interspersed. Ahead, the union was mostly hills and plains and valleys for miles. It was territory that anyone would want to get their hands on. The settlement they arrived in looked quite destitute. But somehow the walls were intact and there was no sign of invasion.
“What's happening, here?”
“If it was Centaurs or Minotaurs there's be more blood and waste. But... Looks like it's just been sucked dry. It's not in ruins, but there's barely anyone here.” Milk observed.
“Quite a conundrum. A mystery.” Sphinx smiled.
Sun seemed uncomfortable. “Feels weird.”
The thrall looked around. “Uh... This is Bee Land.”
Your eyes widened, as did Milk's. The two of you exchange a look. “Out here!?”
“I- I dunno. They were small when I was around.” Milk gulped.
Sun looked at you both curiously. “Why're you both so worried?”
You held your head in your hands. “I'm not a Traveler anymore and I don't know how to dance...”
“Me neither.” Milk lamented. She looked to her thrall. The girl shrugged.
“I can dance.” Sphinx claimed.
“You're a man... It doesn't matter.” You rolled your eyes.
“We gotta hide you two before-” You began to hear buzzing. Low at first, but it grew stronger. You looked around for anywhere to hide but all of the gated courtyards were locked and the shops were shuttered.
“Shit!”
“What's the problem? Can't we just fight?” Sun asked, about to draw his sword.
“Fight?” The buzzing grew obnoxious, then stopped as a woman landed behind the party. You turned around, dreading to see a woman with golden skin, black eyes and bright yellow hair. From your memory the Beefolk were Core Beasts that fancied themselves as a normal species. They had chitinous, natural armor. The shape that took was shining black plates that covered their legs from foot to thigh and arms from hand to shoulder. They had black chitin covering their nethers and their chest, and from your memory you knew they could have it recede if they wishes it to. They of course had a stripped insectoid tail that was bulbous and carried a nasty black stinger. Their wings, by all accounts, should never allow them to fly, but somehow just work against all logic.
“Barbaric Humans...” The woman licked her lips. She studded forward on black armor heels that must have kept her on just her toes. She was soon flanked by two more, then two more on either side after that making five.
“They don't feel that tough.” Sun whispered.
“Don't make any sudden moves.” You warned, muttering under your breath as you tried to reach for the journal.
“We're in a mine-field now.”
“Don't... Reach for anything, my dear.” The Bee warned smugly.
“We're here to take the flowers, girls. You all can come, but only if you want.” She winked.
“Ridiculous...” Milk grunted, tensing.
Bees were an aggressive Species that worked very similarly to how they did on either. Territorial and expansionist, they sent warriors out to collect 'Flowers' for pollen while the workers remained in the hive processing all of it into Honey. The honey was, in it's standard form, just quite tasty and useful for various things. Medicine, food, sugar. There were of course some other forms it could take, but by all accounts they on the surface sound almost symbiotic with civilization, unlike other Core Beasts. That is until one considers and understands the meaning of the word flower for them. You saw the head Bee eyeing Sun and Sphinx.
“These flowers look like excellent producers.”
“Shit.” You were worried about her. The leader seemed like she had a good eye, so she could tell...
“One is a Martial Artist, and the other is a Dragon.”
Sphinx smirked. “If you know I am a dragon then-” He began to take his blindfold off. Sun began to draw his sword and since shit was hitting the fan you reached for the journal. You only managed to open it before the buzzing started again. You froze, feeling **** to look up. You saw it though, the pages were filled.
“Shit shit shit...” You gritted your teeth.
“I can't move!” Sun complained.
Ahead of you all the woman began wagging her hips, then spun and changed the position of her feet, sliding and jumping and kicking up gracefully like a ballet. The other girls at her side joined in. Your jaw dropped and you began to blush and drool a little. The combination of the dancing and the buzzing was mind-bending. The passive hypnosis was strengthened by a special condition. Anyone within it could move and act normally, so long as they were dancing. However, the best dancer within could **** others into the trance. The thing that made the Beefolk terrifying to everyone as a Species was the unorthodox method in which they needed to be fought. Even someone as powerful as a cultivator would fall to it if they could not dance well enough. The trigger for who was the better dancer? You knew it to be psychological. A literal battle of dominance where the best dancer is the victor, and every single person inside the hypnosis knows it. It was surprisingly objective. It had to be. Restriction and compromise on abilities made Aura stronger, it was simply a rule, and it **** everyone to work within the conditions.
“Fuck, here goes nothing!” You begin trying to dance to the best of your ability, but your butchering of the Macarena only served to make the lead Bee smirk smugly at you. She twirled closer to you and moved, swaying her hips a foot away. You eyed her. Most of the Bees had the physique of a dancer. Strong, toned and lithe. As your dance failed and hers succeeded you felt your body weaken. You fell to your knees in front of her looking up in awe as her body swayed and flowed side to side. After another minute, after every member of the party was properly pacified due to forfeit from the impromptu dance battle, the lead Bee knelt down and kissed you on the lips. The inside of her mouth was sticky and warm. You shuddered.
“Y-you... S-said... If we wanted.” You get out.
“Hahaha... Okay, let's ask. Do you want to come back with us?” He black eyes held several pink rings within, creating something like a hypnotic pattern as the dilated and shrunk with the widening and shrinking of her eyelids.
“Y... es?” You can barely manage to control your own thoughts and feelings of lust towards the woman. The others fared about the same. In short order Milk and her thrall also nod 'yes.'
“Seems like it's unanimous.” She stood up and stood over you. As you continued to look up her chitinous undergarments receded to reveal a pretty, shaved pussy dripping with thick, clear nectar. She slid herself over you so that it was rested over your face. Humiliatingly, she held your head and guided you to lick her as she ordered the others around.
“Collect from the flowers, here. If they recover on the way back we may get a second harvest in short order.”
You turned your eyes, able to see the two girls on either side mounting the stunned Sun and Sphinx. They were pushed onto their backs and stripped. The women's chitinous armor retreated from their thighs, revealing tight black bands. The woman on top of Sun removed a waxy, slick disc-like object and lowered it over Sun's member. It became pink-colored as she heated it with her breath and let it coat his member and solidify with a little reservoir around the tip.
“W-what is this?” He gasped, closing his eyes as the woman lowered herself over top of him and began riding. He was resistant, at first, but slowly she kept kissing and sliding her hips up and down his lap. In less than a minute Sun cums. She pulls out and stares admiringly at the semen-filled reservoir. She carefully pulls the waxy bubbly off his cock and ties it, then slides it under the strap on her thigh like a trophy. As she stands back up the Chitin extends back up to her hip. The other woman handling Sphinx does the same, coming back with two full loads that she straps to either side of her thigh.
“Pollen secured, Squadron Leader.” They report.
“Secure the two Flowers and these new Drones. We fly back to the Hive.”
You could not move as you were carried across flowery fields towards a huge mountain. At least, you thought it was a mountain. As you got closer you noticed that the walls were made of some type of paper-like substance that was flaky. It looked like a raised plateau with a forest of hexagonal sky-scraper like structures inside. At the center you saw the palace, a large palace, oval in shape. It was shaped like what you would expect an actual hive to look like, only it also had a hexagon base structure beneath it. It looked like a fortress, like the pentagon back home.
Shit, this is actually huge... There's never been a hive this big. Does this mean they've completely taken over the southern Union? It makes sense... Georgius would probably think he could use them. Travelers are immune to the passive hypnosis, so they're weak to him, and strong against anything that could go against him.
You reasoned.
August has already sent me back multiple times. This may be another bad end, or I'll have a shot to get through... I gotta be able to move to get to the guide, though.
You were stripped down to just your clothes as you were flown into the forest of hexagonal buildings, only to then be flown deep down into the base structure. You lamented that they even took your guide. It was the worst case scenario. You saw pools of nectar within Hexagon beds being tended to by non-Bee's. Drones. The woman dropped you and Milk and Milk's Thrall, then just flew off without much fanfare. Disturbingly, they took Sun and Sphinx with them. As they left you felt like you could move and breath again, but something was still very wrong. You looked around.
“Buzzing...” You covered your ears but it was in your mind, not something that could be avoided.
“Ugh... The Passive Hypnosis exists all throughout the Hive it means-”
“Hey! Newbie!” Someone shouted. It was a Beastfolk girl with a few others following her.
“Why're you just standing around?”
You wanted desperately to tell her off, but the purpose of the extended Passive Hypnosis was clear. You bowed your head.
“I apologize, we're new.” Cultural enforcement. Enforcement of the Hierarchy, and of course... The Dancing. All of it was present, but thankfully you could move around relatively freely when you were not under orders. Unfortunately, the Beastfolk seemed intent to make sure you were busy. She grinned.
“Ah, really new, newbies. Consider this your orientation.” She pointed to the haxagon pools.
“See that stuff dripping down? That's from those big buildings up there. That's where nectar is made and collected. Our job as Drones is to take the nectar to the lobes all around and fill the hexagons until the bottom is full. There it goes through a natural process that creates honey. The Workers then decide where that goes. Don't worry about anything above your station, Drone. Got it.”
You cringed. “G-got it.” You stared into the bucket, then at one of the comb loaves. They were huge and the bucket was very small.
“When does the day end?”
The girl smiled sweetly. “When they say it ends. Can you see the sun down here?”
“No?”
“Yeah... Not exactly an accident. Get to work, Drone. They tell us when to stop. Oh... If you do well and are obedient there's a chance you get picked out for ascension.” She announced proudly.
“There's only one thing...”
“What?”
“If anyone catches you trying to practice dancing you'll be 'disciplined.'” With that she walked off to supervise other Drones.
Milk leaned in. “What do we do, Eve?” The Thrall just started working.
“We're kinda stuck. We could try and tell someone in charge that we're here as emissaries... But, are we actually? We may not want to announce our presence if these Bees are working for Cappy. Alternately, we do have something we can do.” You lowered your voice.
“We could learn to dance.”
