"Ummm... I don't actually know yet" the brunette replied.

"Ok" the boy anwsered

When they got to the storage room Brandon got the grill and went to the patio to place it there while Heather went to the kitchen to help Zack with the food.

"We've got corn, some groud beef we can use for burgers and ribs" the boy informed her

"Alright then lets make the patties first and then I'll prepare the ribs and you the corn"

"Sounds good he said while dividing the beef into 8 roughly equal portions"

He shaped a portion into a ball and pressed on it with a pan

"Wow! I didn't know that trick"

"My dad taught it to me"

They quickly made the patties and the boy grabbed the corn.

He didn't peel the husk off entirely he left it at the end. He then grabbed some butter and spread it across every kernel. Next he salted and peppered it and covered it back with the husk. He repeated that for all 8 corn ears.

Meanwhile Heather was glazing the ribs with some barbecue sauce

"Nice Heather, the meat is nice and slick now" he said giggling

"And you..." Heather wanted to come back but she shut up when she saw him. She slowly checked him out. His nice abs, his muscled chest. She then looked at his crotch and saw a little growing tent in it.

"Heather?" Zack asked "And I what?"

"And you are... hot" she said as she blushed a little.

"You are hot too Heather" the boy replied as he smiled.

He cupped her chin making her look at him and as he looked at her eyes he could see they were full of affection. He then slowly leaned in and kissed her. It was just a light peck and as he started to pull back she put one arm on the back of his head and pulled him in for another kiss.

As they broke it off they looked at each other happily a big smile on their faces

"Let's bring the food out" Zack said grabbing the plate with the patties and the corn ears.

Heather grabbed the ribs and brought them out. As they were walking he thought "What was that look in her eyes? She looked at me like she loved me." He thought about how he felt that she may love him and decided that it's good that the most popular girl in school loved him.

When he got to the grill he said:

"Put the corn first, then the ribs and the patties. The corn will take about 5 minutes more than the meat"

Brandon nodded as he put the corn on the grill. After five minutes he put the meat. When everything was ready he said:

"Heather can you call everyone?"

"Sure thing" Heather said

When she got out of hearing range he asked Zack the same question he had asked Heather.

"What's the deal with you and Heather man? Don't you like Victoria?"

"Umm... well I don't know. She looked at me a few times with a loving look and I seem to love her too soo... I don't know." The boy replied contently as he remembered the kiss they had in the kitchen
