Convincing Douglas

Douglas was looking absentmindedly at Alonzo's case file. Talk about a dog. There was no way to help him out. While he was lost in thought, Katie came in, sitting down at the edge of his desk.

"Hey boss," she said, a hint of something Douglas had never heard before in her voice.

"Hey Katie," he said tiredly. She felt her hand draw down his chest and belly, unzipping his pants, and before he could say anything, dipping into his pants.

"My, a small one," Katie said seductively, starting to move down to her knees.

"No, no, that's quite alright!" Douglas said loudly. "I'm not interested that way!"

"Then what is it going to take for us to do what it takes to get Big Daddy out of prison?" Katie said, stamping her foot. "You've dawdled too long."

"Alonzo. Always about Alonzo," Douglas said, zipping his pants back up, mortified. "Look, if we could get this guy, Big Jerry, to recant his testimony, we could get somewhere, but I can't even find an address for the guy." Katie snatched the paper with Big Jerry's name on it.

"I'll take it from here," she said, with a self-determination that matched her mother's. She was shocked that Douglas had turned her down. Sweet virgin like her? Turned down by an old man like him? If he wasn't into her, he wasn't into pussy at all. But maybe that had a purpose as well, she thought, skipping down the street.
