Convince Lance to take some kegs

Not wanting to let the opportunity slip past you, you peak up.

"Seems a waste to just leave these here, right? I mean, There's got to be something we could put it to good use for, besides getting wasted I mean." You laugh, only half joking.

"Well, you might be right there." Lance says thoughtfully. " Maybe someone would be willing to trade it for something we need... and hell, it's been too long since I've had a taste of the stuff, even if it has been sitting here for god knows how long!" He chuckles. You realise this might be the first time you've seen him look this cheerful.

"Alright then lady, give me a hand, and we'll get a couple of these back to the house."

After grabbing a keg each and taking turns to roll a third along the ground, you make your way back to the car, load up, and head off.

On returning to your new home, Lance leads the way round the side to the back door, the front having been completely barricaded. He reaches for the door as he tilts his head in your direction. " You should probably pay attention to this if you're still thinking of sticking around.'"

He knocks 5 times, waits for a beat, then knocks again twice. "That means it's me." he says as though it didn't need explaining.

After a short pause, the door responds with 4 knocks of it's own. "Are-you-O-kay?" he translates. "all-good!" He says, knocking twice more to illustrate the point.

The door opens to reveal Rei's smiling face, as she lowers a shotgun, and tucks it neatly behind the door. "Welcome back strangers!" She beams.

"You guys do that every time you come and go?" you ask, stepping into the kitchen after Lance. "Well not, so much when we go, but yeah, on the way in, every time." Rei teases. "Can't be too careful!" adds Lance.

"So what do I knock if everything's NOT okay?" you ask.

"Well I normally like to go with something from ACDC or Queen - you know, their earlier stuff - but honestly, if it's not going well out there, knock whatever you like apart from "all-good!" and we'll know something's up." Rei smiles.

"Fair enough!" You laugh, a little nervously.

"Right you two, enough girl-talk," Lance announces from across the living room. "time to get some grub on!
