Alyssa and Clark begin working, It's hard, grueling work, but after nearly forty-five minutes, a majority of the old, broken targets and pieces of the fence have been cleared out, Clark is now on his knees pulling weeds, while Alyssa goes off to collect some tools from the old man, while trying to ignore the stares she gets from other players, due to her outfit.

She approaches the house, noticing the old man sitting in the shade outside, who nods at her as she approaches.

???: "I see you two are making solid progress, I'm too old to do labor like that myself these days, so I do thank you for helping out." His sour demeanor seems to have softened. "Your other friends, the girls, are making good progress as well, so I left them with a list of instructions." He slowly stands to greet her, his bones creaking as he does so.

Alyssa: "Yeah.. thanks for helping them, But you really should request some help from the city, they could probably supply some craftsmen to fix the place up properly, speaking of, We need some tools to repair things, and... if you have any, some paint maybe?" She asks while fidgeting with her overalls.

The old man leads Alyssa into the house, which seems to be mostly storage, with a small cot in the corner.

???: "Sorry about the mess. I haven't cleaned up in a while, but please wait here, I'll find you some supplies." He wanders off into the maze of boxes and shelves, leaving Alyssa to look around.

She notices a damp cloth hanging on a chair by the bed and decides to do something while she waits, using it to clean the small window beside the bed. +5 Reputation. "Huh? what's this for?" she mumbles to herself, before noticing the old man returned, and saw her cleaning. "Oh I uh.. sorry sir, I know you said to stay over there, but I just figured I would help you out a little in here, it's much brighter now." The old man scowls at her before his face softens.

???: "While I would have preferred you ask me... thank you miss, you.. are right, it does look better in here with the sunlight, I really should clean up properly." He gives a quick, crooked smile, before presenting a basket, inside having a few rusted tools and cans of paint. "I'm afraid these are the only tools I appear to have left."

Alyssa thanks the man, setting the damp cloth back on the chair, before fidgeting with her overalls again. "I. Uh. I don't suppose you would happen to have something a little less revealing for me to wear, would you?" She half uses her hands to cover her mostly exposed chest, proving the point of how risqué this outfit was.

The old man apologizes, saying he does not while handing her the basket of supplies. But says that she should be able to dress normally again soon, before thanking her again for the help, and sending her on her way back to Clark.

Alyssa returns to Clark with the supplies, once again attracting stares from other players as she walks back to the range. She sets down the supplies and begins piecing together how to fix an archery target. Clark, having finished pulling weeds while Alyssa was away, is watching her, and notices a few players watching his partially exposed friend, but knows the best way to help her is by finishing the repairs quickly, so he grabs the supplies, and starts working on the outer fence.

A few minutes later, the range is nearly finished, and looks very usable, when they get a quest update.

Quest Updated: Repairs 75% complete, new Optional Objective: Do a perfect job on repairs.

Reward: 5 silver, +10 Reputation with Trainer ???, ???.

Both players are excited by this optional reward for different reasons, for Clark, while 5 silver is not important, a higher NPC Reputation can lead to better, hidden quests, new skills, or even just discounts at various stores. Meanwhile, for Alyssa, who doesn't understand Reputation points yet, 5 silver sounds amazing, as it would nearly double her current cash.

though both are curious about the unknown reward.

Both of the players continue to work hard, and the area begins to look spotless, with a majority of the targets standing strong, paint drying on the fence, Clark is repainting the sign marking the archery grounds, while Alyssa finishes the targets, when... disaster strikes.

[Alert]-Overalls Durability has reached 0 and will now be un-equipped. Alyssa screams as she suddenly finds herself entirely naked with nearly no warning, Clark looks over, shocked, before quickly looking away from his suddenly naked friend. Noting that luckily, the audience Alyssa had attracted earlier has seemingly moved on.

Alyssa: "It won't let me equip anything!" Only Overalls are allowed during this repair quest, please re-equip overalls. Alyssa rapidly try's to re-equip her starter clothing, to no avail, the items being locked away by the quest.

Clark: "I... uh... I'll fetch the old man, maybe he has another pair of overalls, you hide behind that barrel!" He yells as he takes off across the field, nearly tripping over his own feet while struggling not to look at his friend, but finding the old man's house locked.

Alyssa finds herself alone, naked in public, with only an old barrel for cover, she is hoping her scream didn't draw any attention and tries to wait for Clark to return, she waits.. and waits... after 10 minutes she realizes she has a problem, and she has to finish the repairs if she wants to get dressed again. Slowly crawling across the field, she reaches the final target needing to be set up, completely out in the open, if anyone comes near, they will see the naked redhead, she has got to be fast.

She manages to set up the target quietly but notices it needs to be painted still, so, praying no one nearby is looking, she sneaks to the very exposed gate area to gather the paint Clark left when painting the sign. A minute later, as she manages to finish the repairs, still unseen, Clark returns with the old man, who has a pair of overalls draped over his shoulder. Alyssa notices the pair and lets out an "EEP!", before quickly covering herself in the classic ENF pose, just as the alert happens. [Quest Complete!]
