Congratulations

"NOW?" Kaila glanced at Nikki before biting her lip again. "Yeah, I uh... well, Brent... uhm... We're Pregnant."

"Well.... that's... that's wonderful!" I nearly shouted, my eyes flipping directly to her still unremarkable belly. "But why didn't you..."

"Because of last time Brent, it was really rough when you had to take me in, and... I've been scared that any day now I'll start having my stomach hurting again like last time." She paused, looking at me with that same turned on look. "But it didn't happen, and I had this appointment, so I was going to tell you when I had the ultrasound."

"Oh wow, this whole time?" Helen turned to look at Kaila with a sharp expression. "That's kinda being a bitch; you know."

"Aren't ya glahd ya tahlked to me about it, Kay?" Charlotte chided my wife gently. "Told ya, Wait till he's just had his mahnd blown. Now that's one half done, go ahead with the rest."

"I'm not ready to tell... the rest. It's not really bad, bad, Brent." Kaila gripped the edge of the counter, her knees rubbing together gently. "Just something I don't really want to talk about with an audience."

"That's fair." I agreed. My mind was still reeling from the thought that my wife was pregnant. "It IS mine, right? Wait... ah Shit, we've got three wise women. Somebody run outside and make sure there's no bright star in the sky."

"Ok, first off, fuck off you're about seven and a half months early," Kaila rolled her eyes at me. "Second, the only other male who put his hands on me recently got smacked in the head with a big black case."

"Huh? Oh you talking about Jabba the Exec?"

"Dis already sounds gross as hell. Quick, change de channel!" Nikki walked over to where Kaila had situated herself. Kaila looked at the dark haired woman with a questioning gaze before a soft pant seemed to issue from her lips.

"Shit... can't stop thinking about the fact that he's... inside you."

"Right?" Nikki grinned. "Feels like we're in a sorority or something. Brent... you better be careful here. Do you want a cult? Because dis is how you get cults."

"Tha minute somebodah suggests prairie dresses, ah'm out." Charlotte stuck a finger in her bangs, and twirled it. "I had moah than enough of that around mah daddy's place."

"If I recall, you weren't exactly wearing the dress that time." Helen taunted lightly.

"So why don't you want me to hear de secret, huh?" Nikki asked, moving a bit closer to Kaila. "I'll trade you one."

She leaned in and whispered something to Kaila. I didn't catch any of the words, but the expression on Kaila's eyes went wide as Nikki continued to murmur something quietly in her ear.

"Kitten whispers." Helen shook her head. "How the hell did this turn into a sleepover?"

"Ok... that one was good." Kaila regarded Nikki as the black clad woman leaned beside her on the counter. She had finished her whispers and now was regarding my wife with a smile. "What do you tell your folks?"

"Ah ah, you don't spill, I don't spill any more." Nikki looked over at Charlotte. "Course I could always try wheedlin it outta her."

"Fine... Uhm... Brent... You like Carla... right?" Kaila began.
