Confronts The Beast

"Just...leave us alone!!!" Claire shouts as she moves toward the monster. As soon as she's in arms distance of the beast, an armored hand wraps around Claire's throat. She whimpers as it happens, breathing got a little tougher as he squeezes down just lightly. Her eyes look directly into that helmet, tears starting to form. Staring face to face with that golden eagle mask. Her eyebrows arch down, trying to look as terrifying as possible even though she's basically a rag doll in the Commander's hands.

"Such fire in your eyes..." Rixx grunts.

"Get your hands off her!" you shout as you now leap to your feet.

The golden eagle helmet slowly rotates your direction, he releases Claire and takes two giant steps toward you. You back away involuntarily in fear until you come against a wall and can't move any farther.

"Please leave my brother alone!" Claire begs "Don't kill him!"

The armored figure huffs as he starts to sheath his sword behind his back "Today isn't your day to die." his mask doesn't move from your eyes. You can't help but shiver. The sound of his voice is so deep. It sounds like there is so much pain and anguish behind his mask. He takes another step forward at you which you swear causes the ground to rumble from his power.

You cower as your body is involuntarily shaking. You try your best to steady your breaths but you honestly don't know what to do. You want to fight for you life, to show these Rathkin soldiers and this Commander how powerful you can be but you are frozen. This Commander takes another step forward at you, rumbling the ground below until he comes to a halt. This monster of a man, he is huge, his army took over your pasture, he killed your family, your friends, he took everything in your life.

Everything except one thing.

Everything except Claire.
