Confrontations and Conversations

Andreas looked at her partially submerged, naked form. The droplets of water we're slowly falling down, sliding on her body, from the cute face, to the jiggly, mountainous breasts and finally reaching the joint place between the lower parts of her stomach and the scaly tail...

Something pulled him out of observing and admiring. An object, that hit him in the arm and fell on the ground. A soap.

"Get out!"

Sally snapped at him, angry at him, herself and the entire situation.

Voigt, not wanting to escalate things any further, dropped his head and - while staring at the floor - started to retreat.

Andreas did close the doors a little too hard when going out, but it was justified. He was in his own home, he shouldn't have to knock to go into the bathroom, he had no idea she'd be there. After all, she is just his...

What exactly was she to him?

That's the question he asked himself after popping a pain killer and drinking it down with soda. The closest thing he could think of was a guest, but was she really? What if he somehow agreed on her to be his roommate? What if Lisa signed some kind of papers, in his name, for Sally to live with him?

Voigt decided to confront her about it, but not on that day. He was still recovering after that encounter in the bathroom.

Andreas passed her in the hallway later, but she just turned away her head, not being able to look at him.

Day slowly went by. Andreas did his usual things, so surfing the internet, playing games and catching up on news. In the afternoon he was briefly considering a work out, but he decided against it. He didn't feel like adding additional pain to his usual one. Instead of that, he went to the kitchen and began to prepare dinner.

After an hour or so, he carried a portion of lasagna for her, to the living room.

She wasn't there, so he just shouted:

"Food!"

When he turned around to get back to kitchen, he saw her, dressed again, staring at him.

Voigt sighed and made her space so she could approach the couch and the table with food next to it.

"Thank you." She said after she sat down.

Feeling at least partially guilty for the previous situation, he asked:

"Is that going to be enough for you?"

His concern did sound almost genuine.

"Umm... No. Could you bring more, please?" She asked, initially with annoyed voice.

"How much?"

"Like two more plates like that should be good."

She responded, and dug into her food.

"You sure eat a lot."

He commented and started to hobble away.

"Well, we have big bodies so we have to somehow sustain it."

Andreas didn't even turn around at her remark, just brought two more plates from the kitchen. He wanted to go back up stairs and eat there, in peace, but his knee was worse than usual which **** him to rest on the chair next to her.

Andreas pulled out a painkiller box from his pocket, got out two pills and swallowed them under the keen eye of the Lamia.

"What are these for?"

She asked after swallowing another portion of her food.

"My stupid knee is acting up again."

"Knee?" Sally asked, expecting a story, before taking another bite.

"Yes, knee." He just answered, adding nothing more.

But she decided to press on, and have a conversation longer than a few word exchanges.

"You had an accident?"

"No."

"Then what happened?"

Andreas grit his teeth. He really didn't like talking about it.

"I was an idiot that hung out with other idiots. This is the outcome."

Human said with a tone suggesting that this part of conversation is over.

She was also done eating and since he wasn't or couldn't walk away, she wanted to use this opportunity.

"Well... Remember when I told you I'm from AWIO?"

He nodded.

"Umm... I don't know how to say it, but..."

"Just get to the point."

"Alright. The point." She took a deep breath. "I'll need you to go with me there tomorrow to sign the final sponsor papers."

"Spo... What?" He was confused.

"If I am to stay here, I'll need you to sign some documents at AWIO. It's just a formality." She explained.

"And what happens if I don't?" He crossed his arms on his chest.

She dropped her head and looked at the wooden floor. Sally was afraid of that question, afraid that he might not want her to stay with him.

"Then... Then I'll have to go back." She answered, with tears gathering in the corners of her eyes.
