Reading through all the options, Mai settles on being a basic Warrior but also picks up the Blacksmith class, figuring that she can maybe create her own weapons one day.

As she selects, the menus both vanish, being replaced with selections of her race and starter location. Having little information about the game, she just stays as a basic human and picks the first option that sounds interesting, the [Temple of Vinoc, Free City of Jamar]

As she confirms her settings, everything fades to black, before she finds herself standing before a massive cathedral, thousands of people surround her, though most are NPCs.
