"Oh... Gertrude has actually told me something a bit like that in the past, Inquisitor. Not in regards to being a prosecutor, but in regards to being an inquisitor."

Oh, Cornelia. I told you to call me Hip, didn't I? Regardless, there are exercises we can undergo that will be perfect for helping you build your confidence, Cornelia.

"Really? What kind of exercises?"

All you need to do is act the part of prosecutor, as I said. Just say some nonsense like you're presenting some case against a witch. In the mean time, I'll show you how we can boost your confidence. If that sounds good, then please, start.

"O-Oh, we're starting, just like that?" she asked, clutching her hands together and looking around the courtroom to make sure no one was around. She was probably confirming that none of her coworkers were around to see her do anything ridiculous. Now now, Cornelia. This is exactly why you need to build your confidence...

"Ahem. Allow me to speak... The witch stands accused of defying Knox's 1st, which forbids the culprit from being a character that was not presented in an earlier part of the story. When the killer in your story revealed the butler had committed the crime, we'd never actually seen a butler- or, for that matter, any sign of the killer's wealth indicating the presence of a butler- up to this point. What do you have to say in your defense?"

She really was a natural at this. Taking a seat in the nearby audience stands, I prepared for my special confidence boosting pep talk...

What words of encouragement will I give Cornelia?
