Confessions

Their last rest day started like Brenda had originally thought it would. The four of them together, having breakfast, telling jokes. Afterwards Chloe and Chasity went off on a hike, Gabe took out his guitar and went to play on the deck, and Brenda grabbed a good book to read while she drank her coffee. But once Chloe and Chastity were far enough, Gabe put away his guitar and looked at her.

"Um...so Brenda..." He trailed off.

Brenda put her book down, "Yes Gabe, what is it?"

"Well, I know our relationship has been very platonic...and not that I want to change that...I mean, you're a nice girl. I like you, as a friend...but not that you aren't hot. I mean, you are hot...but...fuck. Sorry..." Gabe just droned on and on, but he eventually got to the point, "Ok. I just can't stop thinking about the other day. Me and you. I really want to do that again."

Brenda stared at him, "So what you are saying is you don't 'like' like me. Just see me as a friend, but oh please can we fuck?"

Gabe had the good sense to look embarrassed, "Ya...when you say it like that I sound like quite the asshole don't I? I'm sorry, I didn't mean..."

Brenda cut him off, "Didn't mean to ask me to be your fuck buddy? Don't worry Gabe, I'm just messing with you. I'm not offended. I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it too. I'm just not sure where I want our relationship to go...I mean, obviously I'm going to need your help again...and you're going to need mine, or I guess one of the others..."

Gabe nodded, "Ok. Ya. I get it. Let's just set that aside for now then. I'm good for now, and I know you are too. I'll always be here to help you thhough."

Brenda smiled, "Thanks Gabe." He picked up his guitar and started playing again and Brenda went back to her book.

Some time later Chloe and Chasity had returned and Gabe went off on his own to do who knows what. Chloe was exhausted from her walk and went to take a nap, and Chastity joined Brenda on the deck. Brenda tried to keep reading her book, but it was obvious Chastity wanted to talk. Brenda sighed and put her book down, "What is it?"

"Um, well. I just wanted to say I had a really good time yesterday." Chastity said with a smile.

Brenda nodded, "Ya. It was fun."

"Well...maybe, like...do you want to hang out again? We could play a game or something?" Chasity asked, sounding rather ****.

Brenda frowned, "Look...Chastity...yesterday was...an exception. I haven't forgotten what you did. I know it was a long time ago, but to go from thinking we broke up on good terms and remainded friends to learning that you actually cheated on me before we ended it...it's just not something I can get over that quickly. Sorry, but I don't want to hang out with you today." Brenda didn't wait for her reply, she got up and went to her room.

When she opened the door she was greeted by a surprise. Chloe was lying on the bed, naked, one hand mauling her own chest, the other buried in her snatch. Brenda stared for a moment, just long enough for Chloe to realize she'd been caught, then she slammed the door shut and backed away. So much for a nap, huh Chloe? Brenda thought. She decided to just go for a walk instead, clear her head.

When she returned her bedroom door was open so she went in and found a letter waiting on her pillow. Chloe wasn't around, so Brenda sat down and opened it. It was from Chloe, of course, and it started out as an apology. She didn't feel bad about scratching her itch, but she really should have locked the door. After that though, the letter became more of a confession. Chloe had been harboring a crush on Brenda for years and listening to Chasity tell her about their adventures that day before had just been so hot she couldn't help herself. She had been too afraid to ever tell Brenda in person about how she felt, so she tried writing it all down instead.

When Brenda was done the letter, she sat in shocked silence. She had an idea about the crush, after the truth or dare earlier, but to see it laid out like this...Brenda didn't really know what to feel. She'd always been so close to Chloe, but never realized she was gay. Or bisexual she supposed, the way she talked about men Brenda didn't doubt her attraction to them. As for herself she'd always considered herself straight, and she just didn't think she could return her friends feelings. She wanted to talk to Chloe, in person, but she couldn't find her anywhere. Even at night after she'd gone to bed, Chloe still didn't show up. She went to sleep worried about her friend, but she felt like Chloe didn't want to be found. She just hoped Chloe had the good sense to make it back for the start of the next round in the morning.
