Completing the Look

"Nooooooo!!" Candice moaned as she felt her head swim again, but this time the cloudiness didn't recede as far as she had it should have. Or at least she thought it should have. Her thoughts now lacked a cohesion that she was used to. Almost like the morning with a massive hangover except without the physical pain. "but why do I have to be a dummy?"

"Why did I have to be a goth bunny girl who couldn't talk?" Brendan responded while handing her a pink skirt to match the top. "This seems like it's a much easier transition for you to handle than that."

"But bunny was soo cute!" Amy squealed. "And what's a tran...transi...... that big word you said."

"Sounds like we're finally getting there." Brendan chuckled to himself. "A transition is being one thing and turning into another. If you don't know that one you might be as dumb-"

"Stop saying I'm-aahhhhhh" Candice tried to cut him off before her head clouded again.

"Oops. Well what's done is done. You are looking great now though! I'm going to go get changed you finish up your make-up while I'm gone. OK?"

"How? You make me dumb." Candice pouted.

"Oh don't worry there are some skills you're never going to forget. Now make sure it looks good by the time I get back otherwise I might have to call you a demeaning name. Wouldn't want that would we?" Brendan said as he left the room.

"Nooo..." Candice groaned as she stood in front of the bathroom mirror. She didn't know what demeaning meant but it sounded like mean and she didn't like meanies. To her surprise Brendan was right. She knew how to apply her make-up and found that without even thinking she was applying it to her face flawlessly. "Yay all pretty!"

"That's good to hear." A deep voice said from behind her. Candice spun in her seat to see a 6ft 8in muscled man entering the bathroom.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" She screamed retreating to the corner "Who are you stay away!"

"Amy calm down it's me." the man said walking towards her.

"I don't know you. Brendan help!" Candice continued.

"Hey dummy I'm Brendan." Brendan said. "Ah shit I don't need you any.... yeah almost did it again. I just put on some clothes so I could turn into the Ken to your Barbie."

"Bren.... ohhhhh!" Candice started before clutching her head again. "You said if I was good and put on make-up you wouldn't be a meanie!" She complained as she started slapping his chest.

"Yea- Ow! Stop! I didn't mean it!" Brendan said fending off her blows before grabbing her wrists and pulling them apart.

"Wow you so strong now!" Candice quickly noted looking Brendan up and down and pulling her hands out of his grasp. "Sooo hard!" She exclaimed feeling up his pec.

"Yea I figured I'd finally use my power to be something other than a girl. Good job on the make-up by the way. It's the perfect look for a B......eautiful girl like you." Brendan recovered.

"I did good!" Candice exclaimed. "Thank you Bren....Bren....Brenny!" She struggled before shortening his name.

"Brenny huh? I guess I'll have to get used to that. Well come on Candice time to go for a walk." Brendan said leading her out of the apartment.

"I don't wanna." Candice pouted.

"Why?"

"I don't want people to know I'm dumb."

"Well don't worry they have no idea who you are. You look nothing like normal Amy and if they hear you speak then they would never believe you. Now come on hop to it and get the elevator while I lock up." Brendan said shooing her out the door. Candice reluctantly filed out and made her way to the end of the hall, but once she got there she ran into a bit of a problem. Which was the button she needed to press? One was going up and one was going down. She didn't want Brenny to make fun of her so she had to get it right, but which one was it?

"Oh I know!" Candice exclaimed before she hit both the buttons. 'Perfect now she would get it right no matter what!' she thought to herself.

"Why did you hit both the buttons?" Brendan asked as he walked up to her.

"It's faster!" She smiled.

"Ok then...." Brendan muttered as the elevator arrived. Soon they exited the building out onto the street.

"What are we doing now Brenny?!" Candice said turning to him.
