Coming home

The flight home is nearly as bad as the flight away. But having prepared by resting for the day you are able to handle it better. The two of you sneak out into the bathroom and have sex in the air once more. But only once as the stewardess gives you disapproving looks scaring you into thinking you will get into trouble.

Baby John is kicking the entire way, keeping you awake and uncomfortable. When you finally land you feel exhausted. However, this time Alex is much more considerate towards you and don't blab the entire time, carries your bags and buys you breakfast. As you get outside the coldness of winter hits you hard. The dress you are wearing was a wonderful and stylish choice on the tropical island, not so much in the snow. You wrap your coat around you as best you can while Alex does the utmost of getting you home as fast as possible while getting the heating going in the car.

You don't wait for him once he has parked. You hurry inside and in the elevator. You are just to tiered and cold to consider him. You bet your arms around your body as the elevator goes up. Finally, as the elevator doors open with a pling you hurry to your apartment door and fumble for the key. You sigh with relief as you get inside and close the door.

Deciding not to hurry anymore you take of your coat. As you do you take in the soft yet indistinguishable smell of your home. Your own coat rack and shoe-shelf in the hallway. Walking inside and ending up in your living room. You sigh as it feels good to be home. Then the thought comes over you. This is actually home now. The house you grew up in is now your parents’ house. Your old room that you lived in your entire life is just your old room at your parents’ house. You walk through and inspect your kitchen, where the dishes from your last dinner before going on vacation are sitting clean your dishwasher wainting to be put back. Your living room where the couch sits prominently in the center paired with the TV. You walk into the nursery, the crib dominating that space. The room you and Alex has prepared so much for the little one growing inside you.

Finally, you enter your bedroom where you undress. You put on the warm sweater Alex got you for Christmas. Despite your belly it goes halfway down your thighs. You decide to only wear this, feeling warm and comfortable. Staring down at your pregnant belly you wonder how much bigger you are going to get. You know that a lot of noticeable growth is ahead of you. Maybe you won’t be able to wear the sweater at the end of your pregnancy.

While belly-gazing you hear the door open as Alex get in. The two heavy thuds sound as your bags hit the floor. Tiered you start removing the bedspread. Alex seems to not be a bit tiered as he hauls your bags into your bedroom.

"Right, you get some rest while I unpack. Then I can make us some lunch, alright? " He asks looking down at the bags.

"No." you respond firmly. Turns and looks at you. The fear that he might have upset you is plainly written on his face.

"Alright then what-"

"Take of your pants and shirt." You cut him off. He stands looking at you. Then he starts pulling his t-shirt off.

"Are you sure we should do this now Amy? You look really tiered." He worries. You ignore him and get into bed

"Come on." You say as you motion for him. Wearing only his boxers he sits down next to you. He is about to say something when you pull at him to lay down. Obeying you like a good husband he lies down next to you he is about to say something when you pull the duvet over the two of you and cuddle up into his chest.

"Vacation was good but it's nice coming home." You say sleepily.

Realizing that you want to cuddle him as you sleep rather than have sex Alex sighs softly. "Welcome home." He says gently as he wraps his arms around you and kiss your forehead. "And happy new year my love" He whispers softly as the two of you fall asleep
