Comfortable

Author’s note: Apologies for the delay in writing, I’ve had some irl issues to sort out. There should be regular updates going forward!

Once the two of them finish in the bath, Kael and Evie dress, both smiling as they do. As they finally emerge from the bathroom, Kael sees Gabby standing in the living room, seemingly just looking around at the house and getting used to things. She’s wearing some of Kael’s clothes which Evie gave her, though she’s a bit bigger and shaped very differently than he is. The pants she’s wearing, loose fitting on Kael, are instead stretched tight over her thick thighs and butt. Even more eye catching is the shirt, stretched to the limit over Gabby’s large chest, and leaving her midriff exposed.

Fortunately, the holstaur doesn’t notice him staring, but Evie does, and she gently elbows him, a smile still on her face. Kael, coming to his senses, clears his throat to get Gabby’s attention. Startled, she turns to face them and blushes.

“Oh! Sorry sir, I didn’t see you there. You’re finished with your…bath?”

The amusement in her eyes as she says that makes Kael chuckle. “I am. Evie was making sure I was thoroughly clean…”

Gabby laughs. “You don’t need to be coy around me, sir! You two were clearly having a fun reunion. Made me a little jealous, if I’m honest, sir.”

Beside him, Evie giggles. “I’m sure master would be happy to do the same for you!”

It’s Kael’s turn to be startled, looking down at Evie, who is blushing fiercely. She seems almost surprised herself by what she said. Kael shakes his head. “Ria is a bad influence on you, I can tell.”

He looks back to Gabby, who is stifling laughter. “I apologize, Gabby. The last thing I want is to make you uncomfortable.”

Gabby smiles, shrugging. “No worries, sir, I’m flattered! And maybe I wouldn’t mind taking her and you up on that offer sometime. It’s been a while since I’ve been properly handled, if you know what I mean.

Kael sighs, though he finds himself smiling. “It’s a bit soon to be considering that, don’t you think? You’ve been through a lot.”

The big woman shrugs again. “Sex isn’t a big deal to me, sir. No one really danced around that stuff on the farm. But I understand it’s complicated for you.”

Kael nods, eager to change the subject. “Only recently, but yes. Regardless, you can spend some time getting settled in. Nothing will be open today, with the celebration going on, but tomorrow we’ll see about getting you proper clothes.”

Evie giggles beside him. “What you’re wearing is a bit distracting!”

Gabby laughs. “It’s a bit tight, isn’t it? Anyway, thanks, sir. You’ve done so much for me, and I don’t know how I’ll ever repay you.”

Kael shakes his head. “Don’t worry about that. And you can just call me by name, it’s fine. While you’re here, you’re an equal. Slavery doesn’t sit right with me.”

Gabby hesitates for a moment. “I…thank you, sir, but for now I don’t know if I can do that. Old habits, and…well, you’re kind of a hero, you know, sir?”

Kael shrugs. “Up to you. Evie insists on calling me master, so I guess it’s fine.”

Evie nods. “Master is the kindest person I know. I serve him because I love him, not because I have to.”

Gabby smiles. “That’s so adorable! So…no one bothers you about the whole equality thing, sir?”

Kael shakes his head. “The only person with any real authority over me is Lord Greyheart, and he’s…we’ll say he’s sympathetic. Being a lord’s champion has its perks.”

Evie looks out the window for a moment. “Speaking of which, master, shouldn’t you be attending the celebration?”

Kael shrugs. “I generally don’t. I always preferred to relax. And now I find that I prefer the company of a certain someone here.”

Evie smiles, hugging him tightly. “That’s a great reason, master.”

He smiles and hugs her in return. It looks like Gabby is about to say something, but they’re all interrupted by a sudden knock at the door.
