Collar and elbow, and some disrespect

The bell sounds and the match has officially begun. Toni and Io circle around the ring before meeting in the middle for a collar and elbow. The two fight for position but it is Io who comes out strong on this one as she pushes Toni into ropes. The referee for this contest, Tom Caster, gets in between the two, and Io breaks off for a clean break. Toni, clearly frustrated after losing the small fight there, yells at Io to do another lock up. Both women meet square in the middle again and do another collar and elbow tie up. However, Toni is the one that gains the advantage this time around.

Using her strength, Toni pushes Io into the corner of the ring and holds her there until the referee is **** to make the two break again. Just as Toni releases, she swings her hand out and slaps Io across the face! The disrespect shown by Toni causes the audience to boo as she backs away from Io laughing. The laugh doesn’t last long as Io rushes Toni and does a double leg takedown on her! Io rains down punches on Toni as Toni tries to protect herself. Toni is able to push Io to the mat and rolls on top of her, then starts slamming Shirai’s head into the mat.

The two begin rolling around the ring in a classic spot from the old Divas era matches. Rolling back and forth, an old voice from decades ago would be screaming “cat fight!” on commentary if he was here right now. They eventually even trip and roll over referee Tom Caster! Io is finally able to hit a good punch to get Toni off of her. Io crawls over to check on Caster as he shakes his head after falling awkwardly. He waves her off, which causes Io to stand and turn around into a nasty headbutt from Toni!

Her head rings as Io stumbles backwards and falls into the corner. She sits there and looks up at the lights, her head throbbing from the collision. As she looks forward, she locks eyes with Toni’s ass as Toni has run across the ring and drives her backside into Io’s face with a hip attack. Io’s head whips back from the smack and remains lying in the corner. Toni stays in the corner as a small grin creeps up. She shakes her hips a bit before backing her larger rear up and proceeds to shove her ass in Io’s face! The stick face makes Io scream out in disgust, while Toni laughs it up. This normally isn’t Toni’s style, but this is the confidence that she has at this moment. She doesn’t just feel that she has Io’s number, she honestly believes it.

Toni gets off Io after keeping her in the stink face for a few seconds, and the release allows Io to get out the ring where she tries to get a breather. A stink face is bad enough, but from an ass the size of Toni’s can certainly be more dangerous than sexy. Many would pay to be in the position Shirai was in, all while she is wanting to be as far away as she can be from that ass. Toni remains in the ring as she slaps her own ass to cheers from the male audience; a taunt she did in her pre-WWE days.

On the outside, Io rests on the floor on her hands and knees. This match is not going the way she expected right now at all. As she starts to get to her feet, she peeks up to the ring and sees Toni Storm bounce off the ropes and charge towards her. Catching this early gives Io the chance to rush forward and smash Toni in the face with a forearm before she could dive through the ropes. The suicide dive was prevented, and Toni hangs with her upper-body outside the ring.
