Coffee with Kendra

"Bad sleep?" Your stepmother Kendra hands you a coffee as you enter the kitchen.

"Yeah, something like that..." You sigh, perking up a little as you take your first sip of caffeinated goodness.

"You know, if there's ever anything more going on in your life you can always talk to me about it. I've been told that I'm a fantastic listener." Your stepmother puts a comforting hand on your chest. She's always been so supportive of you, especially after your father died.

"Yeah, I know." You smile warmly back at her, knowing there was no way in hell you were going to tell her that your boss was forcing you to be in chastity.

The two of you idly chat for a while before you look down at your watch and notice what the time is.

"Oh, shit! Thanks for the coffee. I better head off now or I'm going to be late for work." You give Kendra a quick peck on the cheek before grabbing a bagel and heading out the door.

"Have a good day!" She shouts after you as you leave.
