Clothes torn off - Wimbledon

Wimbledon is a tennis tournament held every year at the all England club in London. It sees tennis players from all over the world competing to win one of the oldest tennis competitions in the world, and have their name added to the list of tennis greats that have competed over the years.

It was a sunny morning, and the day of the ladies final had arrived. Thousands of people would be descending upon centre court to see who would win the famous venus rosewater dish. It was going to be a fierce battle between Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur and Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina.

Please log in to view the imageAs both ladies made their way onto the court, they were met with excited cheers and chanting from the crowds that had come to watch them. Little did any of them know what was about to unfold…

The match started as normal. Both ladies were playing the best tennis they could manage. After a hard-fought battle, it was Jabeur who picked up the first set, winning 6 games to 3. They both sat down in their seats to hydrate and regain their energy. This is where things started to go wrong for the players. As they say down, the skirts of their tennis dresses got caught in the frame of the chairs.

As the umpire called time, the two players stood up, ready to continue the match. However, instead of cheers, the crowd began to mutter and giggle. Both players looked around, confused. Oblivious, they shrugged it off and continued playing as normal.

After another well-fought set, it was Rybakina who came out on top, winning the set by 6 games to 2. They both walked back to their seats, still oblivious to their exposed state. They sat down again, and as this happened, their bra and panties became snagged to their seats. One wrong move and all would be on show for all the crowds to see.

At the call of time, both players stood up, and a loud sound of tearing fabric could be heard. Everyone looked at the players and started laughing loudly. Both players looked down and quickly covered themselves. Both Jabeur and Rybakina had been reduced to nothing but their trainers, socks, and any accessories they had on. The two ladies gasped loudly and held their tennis rackets over the front of their bodies.

“Wait, I can’t play like this!” Jabeur pleaded to the umpire. “Sorry, but you cannot leave unless it’s a break” the lady in the umpire’s chair replied, simply shrugging. They both groaned and reluctantly made their way back out onto the court. This was embarrassing, but there was nothing that could be done about it. They’d just have to carry on.

The last set felt like **** for the two ladies. All eyes were on them, and this made them feel even more embarrassed. However, Rybakina saw this as an opportunity. Her opponent was too humiliated to think straight, meaning that all she had to do was play well and she'd win the title. Rybakina played to the best of her ability, eventually sealing her first piece of Wimbledon silverware. The crowd erupted with cheers and applause, and Rybakina smiled. She covered herself with her racket as she waved to the crowd. It was more a smile of embarrassment than delight.

Jabeur wasted no time in hurrying off-court, grabbing her kit and dashing off towards the changing rooms. She was stopped however and **** to stay out until the trophies had been handed out. "And now to our runner-up, Ons Jabeur!" The crowd cheered as she made her way over to the Duchess of Cambridge, who was handing out the trophies. Jabeur quickly took it and held her dish over the front of her crotch, using her free arm to cover her breasts. "And now our winner, Elena Rybakina!" An even louder cheer rang out as Elena collected her trophy. It was big enough to cover her front, which was helpful. They both gave a quick interview before leaving the court.

After returning to the changing room, both girls let out a groan. "Oh god, that was so embarrassing!" Rybakina yelled, grabbing a body towel from her bag and wrapping it around her body. "At least you had a trophy big enough to cover you" Jabeur replied, sitting down with a sigh. Now covered, both players looked at each other and laughed. Sure, this would be what most people would remember them for, but for now, they could see the light side of the situation.

To date, this ladies' final holds the record for the most-viewed Wimbledon final ever.
