Clothes Shopping

Outside of the mosque, Misty took a deep breath.

While part of her wanted to head back to the gym, she felt naked in her current outfit. The veil was good, but no her top and shorts. It also didn't provide much in the way of a place for stuff to be held.

"Has to be a place that sells clothes around here." she thought and scanned the area about. Beyond the mosque stood a couple quaint little shops. One of them had to sell the clothing she was looking for. Making her way over, her gaze turned to the windows. While a couple places allowed people to peek on through, one shop in particular did not. Instead, they had chosen to put up black curtains over the windows. "That has to be the one."

Heading over, Misty tried her best to avoid looking at the other women. They were so pious. And here she was, dressed in an outfit that would be described the opposite of that. It felt like a strange juxtaposition.

"Here goes nothing." she thought and pulled the door open. Inside, a variety of modest garbs and head coverings greeted the gym leader. There had to be something here that would be a step up from her usual outfit. Definitely something orange or maybe blue.

Looking about, her gaze came to a orange shirt. The sleeves alone looked far longer than any she owned, coming just to her hands. Grabbing it off the rack, she needed something to go with it.

Scanning the store about, Misty's attention turned to the far side of the store. A rack of baggy pants hung patiently and drew the gym leader's gaze in. Heading over, her mind was set on a pair that would match the shirt. Or at least, come close to it.

Scanning the various options on hand, she eventually found an orange pair that would match her orange shirt. Taking it off the rack, the gym leader headed for the changing room. After making sure that this particular one was empty, Misty stepped in. Stripping out of her regular clothes, her new outfit took it's place.

"Why do I feel so much better?" Misty thought and stared into the mirror. Combining the hijab with both the long-sleeved shirt and baggy pants, the gym leader felt a lot more modest. Her mind at peace, this was the path ahead. Changing back to her less modest clothes, she exited the changing room and headed to the counter. On the way, her gaze caught a glimpse of an orange dress. Long-sleeved, it went all the way down to the floor. Definitely something she would need to work up too. In the mean time, this outfit combo would work perfectly.

"I would like to pay for this." Misty explained and set the money out. The woman at the counter was dressed in a similar dress to the one she saw mere moments. The only real difference was this dress was black and the inclusion of the niqab. "Thank you."

With that out of the way, perhaps it was time to return to the gym.
