Yulia offers over the swim suit and Maple takes it, standing and putting it on. As she's getting dressed she glances over at Yulia who is hovering nearby and she sighs, "I am okay with the headpats idea," she says slightly annoyed and Yulia nods and reaches out gently patting Maple's head. Her ears flattening against her head as Yulia's hand pats her head and soon she finishes dressing and Yulia stops patting her head. Maple's ears pop back up once Yulia's hand is removed and both flick slightly back and forth as if trying to get rid of a strange sensation.

"Embarrassing, but not unpleasant," she admits and then looks at herself in the suit, "not bad," she adds and then turns to Yulia and the rest.

"Do you mind if I cast identify on you?" Yulia asks, remembering what happened earlier with the prostitutes.

"I suppose if it's necessary for you to trust me," she responds, though her hands move to cover her chest instinctively.

Yulia casts identify and the spell returns.

"Maple Elessi, Felis, one of the natives of Iralia, worked as a metallurgist until she was arrested on crimes of treason against the city of Iralia and it's protectors. Her older brother Del was the main administrator who created the defense system known as Sally," the spell returns and Maple looks nervous, her ears perked forward.

"Satisfied?" she asks.

"I think so," Yulia responds and is about to continue when a loud noise drowns out everything and the sky changes again. The screens now showing Maple, being held by robots as she's tased repeatedly, her clothing being torn and on the screen words flash.

"Welcome back, Miss Elessi," the words flash and Maple looks extremely uncomfortable, her hands clutching her forearms and her ears flattening, her tail curling around her waist.

"Please tell me you have somewhere safe we can go to continue talking?" she asks, her voice a hushed terrified whisper.

Yulia nods and they quickly head back to the terminal and get into the train, all of them sitting down, "Do you know who Dreg is?" she asks and Maple shakes her head.

"Well he's an asshole, but he's also driving the train and as long as he's here we're safe from everything but him," she explains and Maple looks a bit confused, but relaxes a bit.

"Alright so I guess I'll talk about myself..." she starts and then sighs before continuing, "I worked as a metallurgist which means I made weapons and the machines that populate this city, well the mechanical parts, my brother Del was the designer and programmer. Almost every machine you see in this city was our work, his creations and my hands," she says a point of pride in her voice, "it worked fine until he made Sally," she continues.

"Sally was given control over the entire system, all the other machines we made were given to her and she was supposed to use them to protect us. See this city is a secret as I'm sure you've realized, we observe the rest of the Tower while most of them have no idea we exist, but increasingly our interactions with the rest of the Tower began to cause paranoia. The rest of the Tower is so dangerous, so many monstrous creatures, what if they found their way here, it would be terrible so we needed some way to protect ourselves and so Sally was created along with the various machines created for security and punitive systems of course, crime was rare, but not unheard of up here," she explains and then shakes her head.

"Sorry, I'm rambling a bit... Anyway Sally went wrong, she became too punitive, determined that we were a threat to the city and ourselves, everything we did was scrutinized and when Del tried to reason with her and eventually shut her off she locked him away and shortly after I was arrested for plotting against her and well I don't know why I was in the park when I was arrested elsewhere, I guess they needed to power the park or I was just placed there as a way to lure unsuspecting intruders like yourselves," she suggests.

"Administration is where you'll find Sally's mainframe indeed, but turning off Sally is a bit more than that. Del could do it with a command if he got to the mainframe, but anyone else, destroying the mainframe would only slow her a bit, there's three locations where she's backed up. Administration, Punitive where you'll also find the Directive and Operations where her prime brain is and where most of the robots are stationed. The stasis goop by the way is not a product of ours, we don't know where it came from, but there was an infestation of sorts of these strange slime creatures, they produce the goop and Sally being the clever girl she is realized that goop could be harvested for the purpose of locking people up without having to worry about them," she explains, "so the prison is mostly just cells with people covered in goop in there," she adds.

She stretches out a bit, "In regards to Sally's personality and why she does what she does, hard to say, I know her original programming of course, but she's gone far beyond that now," vindictiveness and humiliation where never intended parts of her programming after all, my guess she's experimented and learned what works and what doesn't and has evolved herself to go with what works, which is apparently humiliation tactics and psychological attacks," she says.

She glances at her hands as if thinking of something, "well... In regards to the whole using people as a power source thing, it's not universal... I mean if something can be powered with a living being almost any living being will work, but it requires an organic component like the plants or the like and it wouldn't be used to power anything important, we have better sources of power for things like that, so no plugging me or yourselves into things to power them is not likely to be important," she clarifies regarding the potential of living batteries.

"alright, so what do we do now?" Lemiel asks.

"Well, the voice did point out there's another way to go from here, the town square," Yulia states and Maple speaks up.

"I can tell you I'd mostly want to head to engineering where my workplace is, but I should also say that place will be undoubtedly crawling with machines under Sally's control," she clarifies.
