Clear out the rats

Approaching the lonely woman--who introduces herself as Emily Fleetwater--you accept the job clearing out the rats.

"Thank you!" Fleetwater says, and she leads you to her farmhouse.

You enter the attic, sword drawn. Both barkeep and Fleetwater described the rats as "huge", so you should be careful. As you walk quietly through the maze of dust-covered trinkets and treasures that fills the attic, you here something scurry past your feet. You stab it, and kneel down to find...

A rat no bigger than a shoe. Maybe this is "huge" here, but back in your hometown this is nothing.

You make short work of the rats, and return to Fleetwater. She says she can't spare much gold, but you can take something from her attic, if you wish, as well as what she can pay you.

Poking around, you find a set of travelling clothes that is still in good condition, a shiny knife, and a map of the nearby forest. You better only take one.
