Next Time: Cleansing of Mind and Body
Cleansing of Mind and Body
‘What the hell is wrong with me?’ John thought as Aeolia pulled him up the stairs. His eyes zeroed in on Aeolia’s toned cheeks, vastly different from his mother’s more plush rear. He sharply shook that comparison from his head. His actions caught Aeolia’s attention and she cocked her head back to eye him.
“Something on your mind?” she asked, a light concern in her voice as they reached the second floor.
“Just a lot has happened in the last two days,” John said, obscuring his taboo thoughts. “If someone told me Sunday night that by Wednesday I’d be heading up to shower with a pretty girl, I wouldn’t have believed them. To say nothing about the magic stuff.”
A sad smile worked its way to Aeolia’s face. “Yeah, it's been a heavy few days.”
All thoughts of familial impropriety and well built butts fled John’s head and he moved to embrace her. Her wings folded in, just allowing his arms to snake around her midsection.
She let out a small sniffle and leaned into the hug, bringing her head to rest under John’s chin, then she let out a light chuckle.
“Ya know,” she said through a melancholy thickened voice, “I…” Her voice broke and she took a shuddering breath. “Thanks.”
“Do you want to talk about it?” John asked softly.
“Not really,” Aeolia muttered in response. “It’s like picking at a wound. If I keep going back to it, it’s just going to keep hurting.”
“I get that,” John said softly into her hair. “But ignoring it isn’t healthy either. It’ll just build up and then boom.”
Aeolia tilted her head up to catch John’s dim eye with her watery one, his earlier question reflected in her damp yellow orb.
He swallowed a lump of old sadness. “My dad. He... he died. Car crash when I was ten. I didn’t want to accept it and kept all the sadness in until I blew up at Mom. It wasn’t pretty. I think we cried for like an hour after.”
John’s admission moved Aeolia and she pressed herself into John. “I just miss them. And it really sucks that you and Vi don’t get to meet them. You two would have really clicked with Zeph.”
John and Aeolia lapsed into a comfortable silence for a few moments, letting their embrace soothe their heartache.
“As nice as this is,” she eventually muttered quietly, “we’re going to need to take that shower and call Vi so she can pick us up.”
John hummed in agreement and they reluctantly pulled apart, though Aeolia was quick to take John’s hand as they made their way to the bathroom. She smiled coyly at John as they entered.
“Since we’re running a bit low on time, I think we’re going to have to share the shower,” she said as she turned on the water. “Though that was the plan from the start.”
John smiled at her as he shifted his clothing to his Inventory, following her into the confined space, not having any issue with being in prolonged contact with her again. The close space meant they quickly returned to their former positions, though now in less emotionally heavy circumstances.
“Kind of tight in here, isn’t it?” Aeolia breathed huskily as she grabbed the body wash. “Think I’m going to need a hand soaping myself up.”
Taking the massive hint, John plucked the bottle from her hand and squeezed out a generous amount. He carefully set it down and lathered up the soap into a nice foam. Then he reached around towards Aeolia’s chest and began to attend to her.
She took a shuddering gasp as John’s fingers began to work the cleaning foam into her skin, one hand massaging her breasts and the other working down her taut midsection. Having already played with her tits, though he would never tire of toying with them, he focused more on her lightly defined abs. His fingers traced the lines of her muscles as he worked the soap into her skin.
Aeolia giggled as he pressed a spot just above her left hip.
“Oh,” John breathed into her ear as his hands circled that spot, “ticklish?”
“Look at you taking charge,” she responded, her hands collecting some of the suds clinging to her body as John continued to clean her body. “Fuck, that feels good.”
John smirked, his ego rising. “If you think it feels good now, Massaging Fingers is only at level two. Got ninety-eight levels to go.”
“Damn,” she exhaled as John ghosted over another sensitive spot. “We’re never going to get out of the shower once you level that up. Hmm, wonder if it’ll go faster if you work your magic on two people at once.”
Before John could voice his thoughts on such a topic, he shivered as Aeolia’s soapy hands reached back and began to lather up his upper legs, her nails gently moving across his thighs, spreading soap up towards his pelvis. She moved her hands in small circles above his groin, letting the soap drip down to his nearly fully erect cock. Then, she backed her toned butt into his groin and began to hotdog his sudsy dick.
“Can’t let you do all the work,” she cooed. “Got to keep my skills sharp.”
Aeolia’s buttjob drew a groan from John and, spurred on by it, he slipped his hand lower until he reached her pussy. Her grinding froze for a second as he began to probe her sensitive flesh, before she redoubled her efforts, now with random twitches born of John’s ministrations.
By now, most of the soap had fallen off their bodies, but any pretence at getting clean had left John and Aeolia’s minds as their climaxes neared. This time, John lost the race and, with a drawn out moan, he came, painting Aeolia’s rear white for a second before the hot water washed his cum away like it had many times before.
Despite the rush of orgasm, John’s fingers hadn’t paused in their massageing mission and, with a little more teasing of her clit, she let out a squeak and collapsed against John’s back.
“Wooofh,” she breathed out, then gave a little giggle. “That’s certainly a good way to get clean.”
“Yeah,” John agreed. “Good thing we’ve got a good water heater.”
“That would have been a horrible way to ruin the mood,” Aeolia remarked. “And as nice as this is, we’ve got to get moving. Vi’s probably wondering when we’re going to call.”
“Right,” John said, reaching out to turn off the water. The pair exited the shower and began to dry off.
“You know, it’s a good thing your mom had to leave early,” Aeolia remarked. “We probably couldn’t have taken as long in here. Or had that talk. I think I really needed to get some of that off my chest.”
The mention of his mother caused John to pause for a second, but sexually spent as he was, no erotic thoughts of her invaded his mind, so he pushed off his earlier thoughts as nothing more than passing random thoughts and shrugged.
“Might not happen again,” he responded. “Don’t know if you heard, but she got flooded with extra work. Yesterday was a more usual example of her mornings.”
“Well, that’s no fun,” Aeolia said, throwing her towel into the hamper. “But whatever. Can’t just stay at home all day. Let’s get a move on.”
John nodded and re-equipped his boxers, slipping out of the bathroom to collect his gear. Once he had all he wanted to take in his Inventory and equipped his clothing, jeans and a plain grey t-shirt, he grabbed his phone from his desk and dialed up Vivian.
The phone rang thrice then Vivian’s voice sounded from the speaker, “Yes? Hello. John? Aeolia?”
John frowned at her somewhat harried tone and said, “Yeah, it’s John. You okay over there? You sound a little, um, winded.”
Vivian let out a shy little laugh and John couldn’t help but envision her tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. “Oh. Yes, I, er, overslept. Um, last night was…”
She trailed off for a moment; the only sign of her continued connection was some background breathing.
“Last night’s something we should discuss in person,” she finally said. “Talking about it over the phone seems…”
“A little impersonal, yeah,” John finished for her, agreeing with her point of view though the irony of wanting to be face to face when discussing the previous night’s activities wasn’t lost on him. “How about you pick me and Aeolia up where you dropped me off?”
“Sounds good,” Vivian replied. “Be there in about half an hour.”
“Got it,” John said with a smile. “See you soon.”
“Bye,” Vivian gave her farewell and ended the call. John stowed his phone as Aeolia flew into the room.
“We all set?” she asked as she fished out some fresh attire, a dark blue dress instead of one of the feathered ones she’d worn the prior two days. She left her legs bare.
“Got about twenty minutes before we have to leave for the meetup,” John informed her. “Which I figure gives us some time for breakfast.”
“Great,” she remarked, with a knowing smile, “I’m pretty hungry.”
“Well then,” John said, performing an exaggerated bow, arm extended towards the open doorway, “shall we?”
After a quick meal of scrambled eggs, which Aeolia gave a rating of ‘not bad’, she and John ventured to the rendezvous spot, the winged woman safely invisible as she rode on John’s shoulder. The sidewalks were thankfully bereft of early morning traffic, letting the pair idly chat about nothing in particular without fear of discovery.
Their timing was perfect as Vivian’s car turned the corner when they reached the agreed upon spot. She stopped and shot them a small, slightly bashful smile as John opened the door.
“Good morning,” she cheerfully greeted them as John slid in.
“Mornin’,” Aeolia said, her tone chipper as she faded into view, gliding from John’s shoulder to Vivian’s, planting a quick kiss on the redhead’s pale cheek, only eliciting a light flush from her. “Enjoy the show?”
That amped up her blush and she nodded, eyes locked on the road as she drove out of John’s neighborhood.
“Yes,” she managed to say after a brief moment to collect her nerve, though her cheeks maintained their alluring rouge and her voice was just above a whisper. “I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a stronger orgasm.”
Aeolia beamed. “Well, I think I speak for both of us when I say we were happy to be of help. And a repeat performance isn’t off the table.”
John was halfway through a nod of agreement when Vivian asked, her voice just above the hum of the car, “And if I want to join in?”
“Then John and I are going to have to think up something special for that,” Aeolia remarked in a sultry voice, a wide smile gracing her face.
Vivian shifted slightly in her seat, her thighs rubbing together, and John cut in, “Maybe this isn’t a conversation we should be having while driving?”
Given the out, Vivian nodded and Aeolia sighed.
“You’re right,” she said, slightly disappointed. “So, what are we going to do today?”
With a less salacious topic chosen, Vivian relaxed and let out a thoughtful hum.
“Well, beyond doing Barriers, there is the whole inform the Order quest thing,” she mused, her voice growing serious. “Are we still going to try that? And if yes, how?”
“Well, it might be cliché,” John said. “But I had a thought about slipping a letter into Moira’s locker at school. Could use the Veil Bracelet to do it unseen, and Hex the cameras again just to be safe.”
Vivian frowned. “I don’t think using so much magic would be a smart idea. Someone like the Warden is sure to have a finely tuned sense for magical energies, especially in an area that shouldn’t have them flying around.”
It was John’s turn to frown as he considered Vivian’s concerns.
“Yeah, that makes sense,” John groaned. “So much for the easy way out. Still think a letter would be the best way to deliver the info. But just slipping it into her locker in plain view is really risky.”
“Make a distraction then,” Aeolia suggested. “Something that will make everyone look the other way while you slip it in.”
“Easier said than done, I think,” John muttered, thinking that potential plan over. “A magic based distraction could put the Order on edge and make them think our info is in bad faith. And I can’t think of anything mundane that could cause that big of an attention draw outside of a fight or something like that. And there’s no way I’m going to set one off.”
John looked out the window at the passing buildings. “And there’s something we’ve been avoiding about this. I’ve got to do it alone.”
“Now where the hell did that come from?” Aeolia hotly snapped .
“That wasn't anywhere in the quest description,” Vivian added, sounding only slightly less angry than Aeolia. “Unless... Did it change?”
“No, it didn’t,” John quickly clarified, turning his attention back to the girls with his hands raised defensively. “And it’s not like I don’t want to tackle this as a team, but I’m the only one who can be there. We can’t risk using magic, so no light tricks or Veil Bracelet.”
“Damn, didn’t think of that,” Aeolia remarked, her posture drooping slightly.
“Good thing this is a low risk sort of mission,” Vivian said with an upbeat tone, obviously hopeful she could dispel the remaining tension. “It’s not like we have to do this, so driving ourselves crazy trying to think up a plan isn’t really a good use of our time.”
John nodded. “We can still whip up the letter, and if I get the chance, I’ll take it.”
“Well, if that’s all sorted,” Aeolia chimed in, “just where exactly are we going?”
Vivian blushed. “Um, nowhere in particular. Figured we could hash out our plan on the move then go wherever we needed to go. Unless there was anything you needed to pick up back at the office?”
“Nothing we need to get to do some Barrier busting,” John answered, adopting a thoughtful look. “And I figure we could do a level five like yesterday until lunch, then maybe find somewhere to make a new Barrier to diversify what I can create, monster wise.”
“Sounds like a plan,” Aeolia said.
Vivian nodded, then added, “Parking anywhere out of the way then. Any particular choice or are we going to let some sort of roulette choose?”
John smiled as he recalled the still short list of monsters he could summon to fight.
“I’ve got my mind set on one.”
