Cleaning up

Putting down the phone, you wander into the bathroom to freshen up.

A few minutes later, you're brushing your teeth when you hear bare feet padding your way. You smile as Tibby hugs you tightly from behind.

Your pet's warm body presses into your back and she purrs into your ear. "I'm glad you picked me instead of one of the other cats at the store. We're going to have so much fun together!"

You spit a mouthful of toothpaste into the sink so you can talk. "And to think Ashley had to drag me into that store because I was **** to get a pet at all."

"She did? Then we owe her a big thank you! I hope she visits us often, I love playing with her." Detaching herself from your back, Tibby steps up to the sink next to you and moves some of your toiletries to make room for her own, which she pulls out of a bag you just notice is hanging off her arm. "What I don't understand is how she didn't know you were attracted to her until now."

You spit out the rest of your toothpaste and put your toothbrush down. "Huh? What do you mean?"

"You know, the test we did, with the outfits? Big scene this morning? You do remember that, don't you?"

"Yeah, but... Tibby, I wasn't attracted to her until then."

"No way," she scoffs. When you don't respond, she looks at you with genuine surprise. "No way!"

"I just didn't think of her like that, I never saw her as anything but my best friend."

"Aww, that's sweet. So what do you see her as now? A potential girlfriend?" Then she grins at you through the mirror. "Or maybe as a pet like me?"

You stare back at her, dumbfounded. "What kind of question is that? You know she was just playing along when you offered her those ears, right?"

Tibby doesn't let up. "And if she wasn't?"

"I don't know. I already have my hands full with one pet," you say fondly, grabbing a handful of booty to demonstrate. "Look, maybe she'd be up for some roleplay, but there's no way she'd want to actually be a pet. Besides, aren't we getting ahead of ourselves when she's not even my girlfriend yet?"

Tibby's eyes sparkle at the thought of roleplaying with Ashley. "Take it easy, it's not like I'm asking you to collar her the next time you see her."

"You already put a collar on her!"

"Oh, you know what I mean. Just think about it while I put my things away and get cleaned up."

You've decided to give Tibby the closet since all your clothes can be crammed into a dresser. You've just hung up the last of the clothes she and Ashley had spread across your room, and are nosily peeking into the second, almost-full bag when Tibby exits the bathroom and plops down next to you.

"See anything interesting in there?"
