Cleaning up the mess

You hear heavy footsteps from behind, so you turn around to see Jenny approaching you. You can see that she has already removed her dress. Now that you look more closely, all the werewolves did the same thing. Apparently, the first thing a werewolf does is instinctively remove any remaining fabric from its body. It should help avoid identification later, even though that's probably not why they did it.

"I believe I told you to wait in the bathroom..." you say as you frown, expressing your displeasure.

"I got bored."

"Are you ok now?" Expecting a positive answer from her, you are disappointed when she just tilts her head in confusion. "I guess the answer is no..."

"Jenny!" Without waiting for your enquiry to finish, Leyla jumps in and captures Jenny in a big hug. They both rub their heads affectionately against each other in greeting.

You stare helplessly at the two of them being in their own world. "Why is no one listening to me..."

"I am..." the female werewolf at your feet replies. If you remember correctly, her name should be Olivia. You almost forgot she was there as she's been extremely well-behaved since you caught her.

"Are you ok now?" You address Olivia. The visible confusion on her face lets you know she clearly isn't. Thinking there is something wrong with that question, you decide to change it. "What are you doing here?"

"Following you?" she responds, unsure what the correct answer should be. At least you got an answer this time...

"Leyla?" you interrupt their bonding moment.

"Mhm?"

"Why are you here?"

"I don't know..."

"Jenny?"

"I've come to find you!" she says proudly, making you want to facepalm. They clearly understand you, but it's like something is missing.

*bang*, *bang*, *bang*

It seems that whoever is in the shed still hopes to exterminate the werewolves as they continue to fire at Nicole and Mark from time to time.

"We need to get out of here..." You look around the room for anything that can be useful, but there is little to find. You grab a table and throw it towards the storeroom, smashing it into the door. It manages to rattle the door, but aside from a loud bang, it didn't do much damage. However, it did manage to unsettle the people inside.

"AHHH!"

"They are trying to get in!"

"Don't let them in!"

"Stop shooting man, you're attracting their attention."

"Stay here!" you turn towards the girls and emphasise your point to make sure they understand. Jenny nods her head while the other two just look at you with wide eyes, revealing nothing of their inner thoughts. Deciding not to waste any more time, you rush towards the stage and quickly grab the two dead werewolves and drag them back to the girls.

"Come here!" You shout towards Nicole and Mark. It is important to stick together and evacuate in an orderly manner. "Hurry!" you raise your voice as you see them hesitate. Luckily, Nicole starts to move after throwing a few glances at the storeroom, and once Mark sees his mate going away, he decides to follow.

Once they reach you, it doesn't take much to see that they are also affected by the ****. Nicole keeps looking around, so you grab her chin to make sure you have her full attention and ask her.

"Do you know who I am?" You say, trying to see how much of an effect the **** had on her since she showed much milder symptoms than Mark.

"Of course!"

"Grrr." Mark growls as he considers you kept your hand on his mate for too long.

"Oh, shut up!" you snap back at him. The situation is serious, and you don't have time to deal with his jealousy. If you didn't need to know how much cognitive ability they still have in order to formulate a plan, you wouldn't even bother with this. He immediately lowers his head and looks down after your rebuke.

Before you can continue your questioning, Jenny pulls her into a hug.

"Hey! I was talking to her!" You sound angry, but Jenny melts your heart when she responds by sticking her tongue out. "You...fine."
