What's next?

Evacuation

From the amount of chaos your pack created, the whole state should already be aware of what happened here. Who knows what awaits you once you leave? You might need an empty hand when you get into a tight spot, so you pick up one body and give the other one to Mark.

"Carry him and follow me, ok?" Seeing that he has a confused expression on his face, you try to make sure he understands you. "Do you understand what I'm saying? Wherever I go, you follow me, and he comes with you" you say, pointing towards the dead body. He doesn't answer, but seeing him nod his head gives you enough assurance that he'll follow you, hopefully.

As pack members, it's the least you could do. The idea of leaving them here to become guinea pigs for some random scientist is not very appealing. Unfortunately, you don't have the means to be gentle with their dead bodies so, for now, bringing them back will have to do.

"Keep an eye on him, ok?" Hopefully, Jenny will make sure he follows. "Now, we will all leave together. You have to follow me, do you understand?"

A few "Yes!" mixed with nods will have to do. You have to get everyone back to the pack's territory safe and sound and to achieve that, you must move in unison.

"Ok, let's go!" you say as you make your way towards the exit, followed by a bunch of werewolves.

Once you reach the exit and open the door, instead of a quiet night, you are greeted by flashing lights and armed police officers.

"Stop!"

"Don't move!"

"What are you doing man, shoot!"

"Fire!"

*Bang* *Bang* *Bang*

"Get back!" you yell. Luckily, you stopped as soon as you opened the door and spotted the cops, so all you have to do to avoid the bullets is back away and close the door.

"Fuck!" You turn around and see that everyone has their eyes on you, waiting for the next move. It would be nice if you had someone to consult with, but for now, it looks like you're all alone.

As soon as the shooting stops, you approach the door and look through a bullet hole. You can see that the cops have taken cover behind their cars and are still pointing towards the door.

You didn't expect them to be so efficient, but given the current situation, as they were already on high alert when the call came in to report a 'werewolf outbreak', they should have already been ready to intervene.

"Let's try the other door" you say, because you're not going to leave in one piece through that barrage of bullets. Time is running out and the more you wait, the harder it will be to leave, so you need to hurry.

They follow you earnestly, but it's the same thing everywhere, so you waste time checking multiple exits before you can confirm you're screwed. They've surrounded the building and are probably waiting for the special forces or something similar to arrive.

The more time passes, the more irritated you get. The cops, the guns, time running out, and your friends following you like you're the queen bee or something. The stress of potentially making a bad decision that ends in someone's **** is silently accumulating.

"Sometimes ignorance is bliss" you mumble, looking at your friends.

Just as you're about to burst out from the building and dive into the mass police **** waiting outside, you remember that you're a werewolf now and that if there is no exit, you can just make one yourself.
