Clash of Wills

My good mood didn't last very long. While I was looking for Citrinas I felt the very distant sensation of losing some of my Undead. They were far too far away to get more of a sense of what was going on besides the drop in numbers and it wasn't that many or a very steady drop but it was still worrying. I certainly wasn't going to call Buki and jog her elbow while she might be in the middle of some kind of crisis but I needed to know what was going on.

Okay quick diversion to the portal and almost there I did get a incoming message. Aaaand it wasn't the Amazon Queen but Leraje instead. Of fucking course.

"My Lord the Vampire Queen and her minion are ready to be sent over with Morgana to lead them in."

Shit "Now? Can you delay them?"

"Not much without seriously hurting our cause. Getting Esmeralda to go along with this was hard enough without giving her a reason to back out now."

Fuck. "Okay fine send them, I'll be ready."

"Is something wrong?"

"Hopefully not, just send them now and I'll deal with it. How long can they be gone before her followers are on your ass about it?"

"Not much longer than I was, no make that about twice as long. I can convince them Esmeralda wanted treatment of her own after seeing Aello go through it."

"Okay that helps. Good work."

More undead gone while we talked, I had to do something. I activated the Portal to Delta's Dungeon and turned to my daughters that had followed my from the Temple.

"Alpha, Beta. I need the two of you to go through and fly to the Amazons. Find out what's killing my Undead, lend Tits a hand if you can without putting yourself at risk. Delta has a Runestone, borrow it so you can send me word soonest."

"You got it dad." "Sure thing dad." Both girls gave a salute then leapt through the Portal.

Well that would have to do for now, back to looking for the Arch-Imago. I found her thankfully in the first place I looked, my library. She was trying to read while being pestered by Halicarnassus who it would seem was determined to widen her sexual horizons.

"While yes I am quite enjoying having sex with our Lord that does not mean I'm going to drop my research just because you are board so stop. Oh hello boss, what can we do for you?"

Hali turned with a grin "You're just in time Lord, the librarian desperately needs to have her pages ruffled and I want to join in."

"No to both your plans, we have incoming and once they are dealt with something is going on in the rain forest."

"The Vampire Queen already? She wasn't supposed to be coming until tomorrow. And what's happening in the rain forest?"

"Leraje was probably expecting it to take longer to talk Esmeralda into it, but knowing Aello the crone jumped at the chance for rejuvenation and demanded no delay."

"You know Aello?" I asked Hali.

"Of course Lord, I know all the stiffs at court. Fucked most of them too. You got your work cut out with the Harpy, she wasn't even good looking when she was young."

"I'm sure the Body Modifications spells are up to the task even if I have to give her a whole new look." Worst comes to worst I'd just copy a celebrity from my old world. "Regardless they are on their way in now so I want the two of you in the great hall with me, invisible. When I take the Vampire you stun the Harpy Citrinas. It shouldn't take long. As for the rain forest, Undead are dying. Well redying, I've lost at least a dozen so far and I've no idea why. Hopefully I'll have word by the time our guests know their place and I can pretty up the Harpy. Can't keep them here too long so that'll have to be dealt with first."

The flyers were in fact in view of the Fort by the time I sat down. Two large bats that were obviously Vampires to my vision and an ungainly amalgamation of buzzard and hag. Aello was indeed quite ugly and old if the grey hair and feathers were any indication. The Vampires took human like form at the gate. Morgana was looking good as usual but Esmerelda was stunning. With a name like hers and a Queen I was expecting someone matronly but Esmeralda looked younger than Morgana did. She had fine pale skin with a scattering of freckles over her exposed cleavage and hair red as blood. Her piercing green eyes almost seemed to glow and her thin black dress clung like a second skin. Morgana had her beat in the tits department at least but they still looked well formed if on the small side. Oh well, nothing I couldn't fix.

Before the women were halfway down I had another call on my Runestone. Be good news, be good news. My Undead's numbers had stopped dropping so I was hopeful.

"Hi dad, this is Beta. Good news! There was fighting going on and your Undead were involved, so were your Amazons. Here's Tits to explain."

"Give me that, and stop calling me that!" Yep that was Alkadabuki "My Lord I have Runa in custody. I'm sorry I misjudged her, instead of giving up like a coward like I expected when she noticed the Undead she went off like a cornered animal and I lost dozens of Amazons living and Undead subduing her."

"Ah. Apparently she knows what the Goddesses have in store for her. Not your fault, I wasn't counting on that either. She was probably trying to get you to kill her instead of taking her alive."

"It very nearly came to that but your Angels showed up and tipped the odds. Best they take her to you now or I'm likely to finish the job."

"If it's any consolation she's off to a much worse punishment than ****. Any of the bodies intact enough for raising?"

"Thanks for asking Lord but no she was quite thorough in her destruction. And yes, it helps. I wanted to put her down when she first turned you know, but the others took her in like some kind of fucking puppy. Pathetic."

Well that was settled and while a couple dozen Amazons was a steep price it could have been much worse. I half expected to hear Tomoko had showed up with her to the cost of all my Amazons. Now I could settle the business here without worry.

Morgana swept in and with a bow introduced her Queen to me then I to her and finally the Harpy with a shrug as if as a afterthought. I guess Harpies didn't rank that highly with the Vampires, or Morgana just didn't like the old bird. Either way Esmeralda didn't react to the snub so it was probably expected.

"Queen Esmeralda welcome to my humble abode, and you as well Aello." I gave them a slight seated bow.

"High Priest." Esmeralda gave a slight bow of her own back to me, interesting. "It is good to see proper clergy of the Dark Goddesses again. Our forces have been so long out of favor one might have thought they had given up on us." Even her voice oozed sex, but it didn't distract me from her implied challenge.

"You doubt me and rightly so how matters have been but I can prove my word. Behold!" and I spoke a Word of power and held out my hand to her. Claim Greater Undead crashed my will into hers as the Harpy fell to the floor with a undignified squawk and Citrinas and Halicarnassus appeared on either side of me.

Esmeralda's eyes went wide and then she braced against my power. Her bright green eyes went black as night and veins of darkness spread over her creamy pale skin while her hair and dress streamed back as if in a high wind. She certainly had power but she was only delaying the inevitable and slowly she went from standing to down on one knee. Not long after she knelt prostrated before me sobbing and I noted Morgana was kneeling as well. I hadn't meant to catch her in the spell but then she was already caught by my will so it wouldn't have taken much.

"Rise Queen Esmeralda of the Vampires and serve the true Demon King. You rise too Morgana, I know your worth."

Esmeralda stood trying to look unruffled but tears of blood had run down her face and her fangs were very much in evidence. "My King. I can feel the power of the Goddess in you. Never in all my long years have I seen such. Reala's father did not even have the power to command me and he was twice the ruler she is. Leraje set me up, so she serves you as well then. Of course. And Halicarnassus, the so called Seneschal of Carnachias, I see you've been swept up as well and eating well apparently."

"Sup Mera. No more playing politics for you but we can still have fun when the boss is done improving you and your wrinkly toy." Hali sneered at the fallen Harpy.

"Be nice Hali, Aello will look much better when I'm done with her and if you're very good I'll let you join Esmeralda and me in our fun afterwards. Tell me Mera have you ever heard of a Daywalker?"

"No my King, what is that?"

"The second half of an experiment, the first is to see if I can get a Vampire pregnant."

Too shocked for words the Vampire Queen just looked stunned but behind her Morgana looked eager. just then Alpha and Beta jumped back through the Portal, one with a bound Dragon girl over her shoulder.

"Hey dad look what we found." "Can we keep her?"
