Then she saw herself.

Her younger self, dressed in a school uniform, standing over her. The two locked eyes in stunned silence. The younger version frowned in confusion, while the older one felt her heart sink. The Skovox Blitzer's energy hadn't simply thrown her across space—it had hurled her backward along her own timeline.

"Who... are you?" her younger self asked.

The older Clara opened her mouth, closed it again, and simply stared.

Then a cool breeze reminded her of something she'd completely forgotten.
